How is the Loot system working?

After i killed some stuff in open World PVE i had to go for lunch and just stood beside the corpse filled with loot.
It was some random enemies not caring about their loot anyway.

So Now my question is, how Long does loot in corpses remain?

i was afk for like 20-30 mins, just moving my char 1 or 2 times during that time.
Loot was still pickable after that amount of time.

Somebody knows when it will dissappear?

I believe that NPCs that have loot on them will not reset unless the loot has been claimed, or you travel a set amount of distance away from them. So theoretically, as long as your character is near them, they slained NPCs with loot will never reset.
