@Wrobel

Sanctuary set
1. Max Health
2. 4% Healing received
3. Max Magicka
4. Increase healing received by 12% for you and group within 10m

Diagna set
1. Max Health
2. Max Health
3. 4% Healing received
4. Minor Vitality - 8% healing received for yourself only

Come on at least give the 10m radius to both this really makes them lop sided side by side.
PUG Life - the true test of your skill

Well one if for an individual and not met for group play... not sure really what your asking for here. This is setup this way for a reason.

Side by side they are two different sets so can't see how they would be lop sided

They both apply a heal received 5th piece bonus. One gives 8% heal received for yourself the other gives 12% heal received for you and anyone with 10m of you. They are easily comparable and one is clearly better than the other.

Except the 12% heal is a light set and the 8% is heavy armor. You'll be taking less damage in the 8% set

plus you get the healing bonuses from heavy armor passives.

I don't know why people maintain these outdated views on sets. Healing received is for tanks so three piece jewellery and sword and board and you have the 5 piece without any light or heavy armour. All dropped sets should be comparable on their traits alone.

The jewelry for sanctuary is magic, not health, so one is for a healer and the other is for tank, not sure why this is hard to understand.

Tanks use resources they need more than just a big pool of health they need a balance of resources once they hit the right level of health. What healer needs a heal received bonus? Healers want sets that give a boost to heal given like Healer's Habit so that it doesn't matter where a group member is standing. Personally I would prefer more resources for my healer but if I was getting a set with a heal boost it would definitely be for heal given and not heal received as a healer.

This reads like a DPS that has never tanked or healed before post.

Oh well since the Wrobel protection society don't want a better Diagna set for everyone I guess I will try and run a sanctuary set with Lord Warden and make a haven for melee DPS build.

just to be clear, you are asking for the boE overland set to get close to equality to the BoP dungeon set and that armor type and jewelry bonuses be ignored in this effort?

    Do i have that right?

Or you know, the healer could wear this set and then the tank were that set and then the tank would get 20% more heals.

They are both bad sets, except sanctuary in pvp when you have more then two healers that already have trans and worm or gossamer covered. Obviously SPC is the first set.

I'm asking for the set bonuses of sets to be comparable and not so disproportionately different from each other. Really I think Sanctuary is fine but using it as a base mark Diagna needs a buff.

Whether it comes from a dungeon or an overland drop should not make a difference to the balance of 5 piece sets.

The healer would have to stack on the tank, there are very few PvE boss fights where that would be a good idea. As I already said Sanctuary is a rubbish set for a healer the only role that may have a use for it is a tank.

The only people that would get use out of it in PvP would be ball zergs and even then there are better skills so why gimp yourself.
