ESO needs Better PvP

Just like USA needs better fights

Too many 1v1s in USA, they need more big tag team matches if you ask me. Like 2 boxers vs 2 boxers or free for all boxing matches. 1v1 is boring and why boxing isnt as entertaining as it once was.

Anyways what I was thinking was in AvA, they could have a duel system, where 2 or more groups meet up or get nearby each other a message pops up and says duel. and the leader accepts it or not and it could either load them into an instance and they duke it out or just simply duke it out in AvA. The concept I'm thinking of with this idea is from Dynasty Warriors.

Another thing is Arena, people want the arena believe me, and you can either continue with your red ocean strategies by making what other games have already done, or you can think outside the box and use blue ocean strategy and come up with something that is better. When you think of arena you dont think of 1v1 so much, most of it is team battle or giant free for all. only times you see a 1v1 is when they hate the person and want them dead.
With arena I would allow people to spectate the fights too, I would like to see a queing system but in open world.Where spectators can view and leave without it being an instance. Like a townsquare arena pit.

Anyways, just my thoughts, I feel like the AvA is getting stale and what a typical MMORPG does is start lacking on PvP portion and focus on PvE... Which if you look at every MMO they are all 'dying'. because they feel like PvE is super important, and that's the problem if you ask me. History tends to repeat itself.

Btw, I feel like MMORPGs are starting to forget what a guild means. Would be nice to bring back the actual meaning of a guild. Having multiple guilds, thats just solo play. Guilds are not meant for what MMORPGs are using them as of lately. Only the very top elite remember what it means to be in a guild.

    Duels dont have to be 1v1, they can be teams like my group/guild/pug vs your group/guild/pug duel.

    Also, I would have a thing if the opposing team or person refused the duel their abilities are x% less effective for 5 minutes.
    Also, add in game announcements that goes to everyone in AvA soandso challenged soandso to a duel, then if they accept or not. Just like Dynasty Warriors announcements.

    Believe it or not, people love announcements. This game is lacking in that department, the only time I see/ really notice them is with scrolls.
    Why do you think LoL is so popular, and maybe Overwatch does it too... It's because the game pretty much has an announcer yapping all game long, making it feel fun. 'your inhibitor has been destroyed' 'enemy quadrakill' 'unstoppable'. yap yap yap
    --Thats why Dynasty Warriors was popular at a time too, the other games like it was missing one element. the announcements flooding the screen and sound effects of your team losing or winning fights, making it feel more real. Only reason why its dead now is because they barely made any changes and it got stale.

    Yeah, they need to get better at social media. Lots of good ideas goto waste because of inability to advertise and showcase it.

    Better than adding new maps and such. All that does is spread out the population and make the game feel like its empty. Better to improve upon what you have. If you look at Everquest, one of the reasons for its downfall is because game is simply too big, too many zones, population spread thin, people thought game was dead, and hence stopped playing it.

    You dont see LoL, pumping out new maps. They moreso focus on what they have and try to make it even better. However, they do add seasonal maps or whatever you'd like to call it, which is good, but they focus on the main map the most.

    I don't normally comment on peoples ideas but I felt that I had to with this one due to it being such a dreadfully awful idea!

    Small group pvp already exists in the imperial city and most 1v1 happens in PVE so why change pvp to prevent it.

    The current pvp system is not the best, ill agree, as it currently favours the bigger group rather than the better group meaning u have to use strategy, manoeuvring, terrain etc to try and balance the fight. Simply lumping people together without any strategy and saying "fight like this or be penalized" would be a total disaster!

    Improving pvp can be done with just a few simple words: More Balance and Less Lag. Simples

    Okay I like PvP, lots of people like it, lots of people are thrilled to play an Elder Scrolls game and have the opportunity to play against other players. PvP is a major part of most MMOs. ZOS has not handled the situation well and for some reason PvE and PvP players are pitted against each other in a stupid struggle. The blame is on ZOS fir poor game design not other PvP players. Unfortunately there are some PvP players who would be like "PvP needs expansion to the rest of Tamriel" at the expense of further PvE. ZOS is squarely to blame for setting up a game with a tri-faction system and then not have good game systems to let both coexist. So, ZOS FIX EVERYTHING!!#

    I can't believe you just compared ESO to a MOBA. That is absurd. The design goals are completely different.

    PvP is ESO is another thing your character does. Since it is an RPG, you even carry over your gains campaign to campaign. Your character doesn't reset to Alliance rank 1 each campaign. If you want it otherwise, play a MOBA or some round-based first person shooter.

    The reason MMOs decline is that they get old. Interest wanes and then so does investment by the publisher. PvP won't solve that because there aren't enough people doing the PvP to make continuing the game a good investment went interest wanes in the PvE.

    dcuo pvp was a bit of a joke. the pvp servers had heros and villains playing side by side in 1 box zones. And it was too easy to gank new players. Not to mention dcuo had those riots over it being a p2p mmo blocking players off from doing anything. And daybreak more or less broke the game. (tried to play it reacently, and all the launch bugs were back.

    not to mention more often then not you just played a skin of a dc hero or villain.

    Gank new players - go to pve server

    Heros and Villians fighting side by side - Task Force X / Suicide Squad don't see any problem with this and it isn't lore break.

    Legends Pvp is super epic in DCUO and the most balance of any pvp.

    Whats not fun about attacking the same looking keep/castle/fort over an over again just gotta forget that they are all 95 percent the same.
