The best thing about PC gaming: customization. You can choose to have floating numbers, you can choose not to, you can even use a controller and the console UI if you prefer.DRXHarbinger wrote: »Depends if you need to be told when to block, purge, dodge, duck, dive and dodge. Just a quick question for anyone who has played or actively plays on both. I currently play via Xbox one and absolutely love the game. But obviously consoles are very limited in power, and add-ons and such. Is the experience on PC worth making the transition over ? Thanks in advance.

Mainly just wondering if the Add-Ons to the UI, whether it's for damage out put or different healthbar/magbar/stam bar plates etc, plus the overall performance on PC makes ESO a much better experience ? Obviously this is a subjective and tricky question lol sorry about that.
I absolutely love the game on Xbox One, the graphics are good to me just a little bit of lag spikes here and there. But I do have a very good gaming PC that I've thought about getting this game for, just wondering if the performance and add-ons are worth investing time into brand new characters? Or if I'm enjoying the console version should I just stick to that?

You can get addons to see other players buffs. You can get addons like @Astanphaeus mentioned which allow you to check prices on guild stores and compare them. Though they probably know more about that addon then I do.
Performance wise, that is very subjective. If you have a crap PC then your experience won't be great. I played ESO for a small time on a older laptop before I got a higher end PC. If you have a PC that can support it, I'd say go for it. But you need to make sure you keep yourself in the loop about graphics driver updates and how they work. Then be prepared at any moment for if and when the machine decides to act up, be knowledgeable about how to fix it to get it running again. PC is a very awesome tool for being able to game on, but when it acts up or the hard drive dies. You'll have to be the one to fix it.
I don't know the exact specs of my PC. But it has run other MMO's like WoW and SWTOR on High settings without any problems. I have family members who are very good with PC's and helped me build the one I use today. I'm definitely going to give it a shot on my PC. Thanks for the info!
Well you can't transfer stuff between platforms, so there is that. I guess this would only be an issue if you have collected a number of things on one platform, and or, done a lot of trait research. If you have a lot invested, switching platforms can be painful. You can get to 6 traits on the items you do use in less than two months, so its not the end of the world in that way. If your at 7 or 8 traits on most items, ouch.
If you have played for only 1 to 4 months, now is the time to jump, if your going to jump.
