Ideas for the Future

Hi guys, I've been thinking about some ideas for the game for a while and thought I'd share with you. Let me know your thoughts and opinions.

Limited Time Items: Items put up in the crown store or items that are added for an event should stay in the game permanently. There are many people who take breaks and miss out on a lot of cool stuff when they return. There should be ways for people to obtain those items in-game when the limited time or event is up. Don't make it easy, it would have to be a challenge otherwise putting them in the crown store would be pointless. An extremely hard raid or solo dungeon + boss would be sufficient to acquire the items.

New and Different Quests: I understand there are probably thousands of quests in TESO, a few are plenty fun and a few can be quite dull but lets face it, at the end of the day they're all the same. "Go here and kill this boss, go there kill those mobs, travel here and collect this, travel back talk to this NPC"... By the end of the day these "quests" turn into "run up to everything and press E". It's nearly 2017, we need something different than the same old situation. What about some more puzzles? (I mean puzzles that don't require dialogue we skip through by tapping E to get to the end, actual puzzles that require hard thinking). Or even something like jumping over lava, or a bottomless pit that instantly kills you if you don't jump onto pillars that surround you. Mount racing quests would be cool too. You know, things along those lines that would bring new and exciting things to TESO.

Mounts: While I love most of the mounts in TESO, I can't help but notice they're all the exact same design (If in that animals category) with a different color palette. What about some completely new mounts that aren't a copy of all the others? There are so many things I could think of off the top of my head but yet it's so restricted. We could have something like the Sep Adder. I'm not talking about a flying mount, it would still be ground based but with the flying animation. Or what about riding on the shoulders of a giant troll? Now wouldn't that be cool? The possibilities are endless.

More Interactive NPC's: This is just my opinion here, but to be honest, there are only about 3 or 4 NPCs name I can remember in the game and even at that, I can barely remember what for. If we're going to have so many quests in the game, we at least need to be immersed in the game and not find ourselves falling asleep at the keyboard due to poor story lines. I basically just skip passed anything the NPC's have to say now as it doesn't really have a good story line anymore. The NPC's don't capture me like the first ones did when the game first came out. For example, Molag Bal, Cadwell... etc.. We all know who they are, right? I honestly don't feel immersed when doing story line quests anymore. All the new DLC characters are very dull and need to be more immersive.

More Polymorphs & Dye: Personally I love the polymorphs but it's a real shame we don't have more of them. Some new designs would be nice as all the polymorphs that have come out have had some very nice detail and thought put into them. It would also be an amazing feature if we could dye our polymorphs, for example, the Xivkyn Tormentor Polymorph. I'm completely in love with the look (being a light armor mag sorc, I can't wear the heavy Xivkyn armor set) but I'm locked to the colors. A feature to dye the colors would be great.

Crown Store Weapon Aura Effects: I'm sure most of you would agree the weapon aura effects in game look awesome, but not all of us get them. Wouldn't it be cool if we could purchase a permanent aura effect for our weapons from the crown store? Some different and new types of effects would be a nice addition too.

Town and PvP Area Optimization: Most of the game is very well optimized, except for town and PvP areas. Personally, I have a pretty crazy gaming rig and don't have issues. However, testing on multiple other PC's of different builds, I notice a HUGE impact on CPU utilization. These need to be better optimized for people who can't afford a spaceship. To put things nice and simple, people would need a pretty epic CPU to maintain a stable 60+ FPS whilst in town or Cyrodill. A 4.0GHz CPU seems to be the MINIMUM requirement for best performance in town or Cyrodill. I have no issues, my PC can pretty much handle anything you throw at it. I'm running TESO on 60-140 FPS, but even with all this crazy hardware I can still drop below 60 FPS in town and Cyrodill. We need this issue fixed so we can play properly. No game should be played under 60 FPS at any time.

Internet Optimization for All Countries: Let's face it, if you're not living in NA or EU (Dependent on server), you're at a disadvantage in PvP to the people who are. I live in Australia and I know a lot of other Australians who play TESO. Since TESO was first released, our ping has always been sitting around 250-300. Same situation for people in other countries. Some even play with 500+ ping. Bethesda is a multi-million dollar company, why not invest in servers all around the world so players from all countries can enjoy a smooth gaming experience? Don't get me wrong, the game isn't completely unplayable, it's very playable in fact. But compared to people who live in the servers specified countries, we get dominated. The milliseconds it takes for our keystrokes and clicks to register to your servers is enough for us to get slaughtered by people of our same skill level. Trying to click + force shock is very hard to do with 300 ping. I pretty much miss my basic attacks 50% of the time because of it. Better internet optimization for all countries is a must.
