Molag Bal's Dark anchor dialogue - Did ZOS nerfed Molag bal?

Is it me or does Molag bal sound too whiny when he engages you in a brief dialogue during the Dark anchor raid? This isn't the Lord of domination that I've interacted with back in Skyrim 
Why is Molag bal so whiny in ESO? Granted he wasn't whiny during the main questline... just during the Dark anchor.

✭Molag Bal has been nerfed multiple times, yes.
And yes, he is very annoying and whiny at Dark Anchors. What I find more frustrating than that, however, is the distinct lack of relevant dialogue. Everything he says occurs pre-Coldharbour, referencing characters that are either dead or have moved on since the resolution of the Planemeld.
