After months of wanting to try group content and not knowing where to start, I finally got brave enough to dive in! I had a look at the activity finder and queued for a random normal dungeon.
Wasn't wanting long before I joined a group half way through one. After a very dodgy start getting killed, rezzed and killed again instantly a few times, I got more into the swing of it and got to the end.
After we left I was whispered by one of the group offering to support me if I wanted to go again for the pledge. I had to explain that I'd never tried pledges and this was my first try.
He then spent the rest of the evening walking me through undaunted and giving me advice. Awesome guy!
It's encounters like this that keep me coming back to this game. Yes, there's lag and crashes and problems but there is also an incredible community of players willing to help out casuals like me who clearly have no idea what they're doing!
There's so much negativity on here sometimes, just wanted to share something that made my day
