Getting the Most Out of My Redguard aka Creating the Perfect Redguard...

Hello,

So I have played Oblivion, Skyrim, and now Elders Scrolls Online. I have always favored playing a character that resembles me (Red-guard). I admit I have never read any lore nor did any research on Red-guards until this year. In previous games I normally just grabbed the highest heavy gear I could find along with the heaviest two handed weapon and off I went. With the introduction to PVP it forced me to actually learn in order to be competitive. The ideal is to play to my advantages in order get kills and/or survive. With that being said are there any recommendations/build in order for me to reach the max potential with my Red-guard.

I have recently moved to Europe and have switched to the EU server. Which gives me a great excuse to create a new build.

Now let's discuss class.
In short, which class passives offer me to most Stamina?

Night-blade offers = more critical strike
Sorcerer = Unholy Knowledge does reduces magicka and stamina cost by 3% and 5% when morphed.
Templar = Critical Strikes, Blocking, and Spell Damage
Dragon-knight = Flame damage

So Sorcerer would overall be better for a stamina build, based on the passives above???

Next is Gear.
No brainier all Medium for max stamina.

Then we have Weapons.

Bow: Ranger Passive Reduces the Stamina cost of Bow abilities by 10% & 20 when morphed%

Two Handed:
Passives: Battle Rush Increases your Stamina Recovery by 15% & 30% for 10 seconds after killing a target.

One Handed: (Which is the Red-guard Racial Passive also) Improves your standard bash attacks. Bashing deals 50% additional damage and cost 20% & 40% less Stamina when morphed.

Dual Wield Passives: Mostly Weapon Damage and Crit.

Not even going to look at the staffs.

So by the looks, to get the max of of my Red-guard I would have to be a Stamina Sorcerer in full Medium armor with 2 Handed Weapon and Bow???

Anyone understanding this the way I do?
I know sets play a big role but this is without going into armor sets and enchantments.

This is used for PVP only in a campaign without champion points.

Thanks

To get the most out of a redguard, going stamina is mandatory. Then, choosing your weapon depends on the type of content you want to play. For pve, dual wield/bow with full medium is the strongest, while 2h/bow does lower damage, but is awesome in pvp because of rally. In pvp, most people use 5 pieces of heavy armor by now. Stam sorcs are very strong right now, hurricane is just a crazy skill, and they're the fastest class overall, except for magicka nightblades who have a lot of sources for speed too.

Well depends a lot on what you build it for.
If I understand you right by "getting the most out of it".
For pve you'd wanna go dual wield and bow.
For classes you forgot to mention sorcs 15%? reduced ultimate cost and templars 4% reduced stam, magicka and ulti cost passive.
For 3 of those classes you will want to get maelstrom weapons which are really hard to get. Trust me don't plan on getting any useful ones of those in the next 6 months.
Without those weapons stamplar has a really solid dps. (I'm 400 cp) and pulling 30K sustainable single target dps without group buffs is no problem for me. (my nightblade only manages 24-25k and my dragon knight around 26-28). Don't have a stam sorc but he should be around DK or stamplar level.
If you add maelstrom weapons to the race then stamplar will come out last (I think)

Redguard stam sorc, you get self sustaining stamina, a huge stamina pool and surge will provide all the healing you'll need with rapids and craze, I have a redguard NB and Sorc and Hurricanrana as he's called ( yes WWE fan, loved the move and it's fitting) outclasses my NB any day of the week,

For instance the difference in VMA scores in 45K atm, and DPS from tests is 4K, also they are a hell of a lot tankier in general, I can't play a NB without Vigor, Sorc...well hasn't even been to Cyro for the tutorial yet and is Flawless, NB well I just don't see it happening tbh.

But if you're PVE you need DW, 2H for PVP.

But there is no Point in running 7 medium, iirc all that's in it is 2% crit, You DO NOT get more damage from the passive if you wear 5,6,7 medium armor, it's a flat 12% regardless, you just need 5 medium, it's affects no stamina pool, use where possible a Heavy chest and light belt for full undaunted, with most set ups you can hit 40k stam with ease, that said 100 in mighty and 87 in therm makes for some stupidly OP Rend ( 69k Tooltip using TBS so go figure ) and you're all dots with a stam sorc so all good.

Stam Sorc because that class has high costs to keep in motion and Redguard passives help alleviate that.
I didn't choose tank life, tank life chose me.

Wouldn't ever use a stam vampire. Most mag players will just incinerate you not to mention prismatic glyph critting for 10k even with full impen, I have been insta killed in full heavy from one heavy fire staff and prismatic glyph as a stam vamp. Never ever again. It's only worth while running vamp as mag and with shields.
