Server timeout

PC NA: I can log into the game, I am in Elden Root, but when I try to port to Belkarth, I get an infinite load screen until I finally get kicked from the game and get a server timeout message.

On a serious note though, in Craglorn currently. Myself, and seemingly many others are experiencing the same thing.

happening to me as well. I could at least move zones yesterday. I give up trying, been 3 kicks so far past 20min

Also experiencing this, can't log on to my character in Craglorn in PC NA. Got on one in Hew's Bane okay, moved him to Glenumbra--loading screens are 3-4x longer than usual, though.

UPDATE: Did eventually manage to log on to Craglorn character . . . ping spiked to 999+ on arrival, was booted to logout screen about thirty seconds later. Still can't get back on her.

4 DCs in 3 hours. Strange, elderscrollsonline.com answering to ping, but eventually even its main page seems to be off.
But,

i can imagine how hard can it be to keep things working with these hamsters ^^

I ran into the same problem. Got kicked from the game while in Cyrodiil out of the blue (which is honestly nothing new since this game seems to freak out if one packet is lost or something) and couldn't get back in on that character because the game booted me back out to Craglorn where I was before. Same thing with my other character I leave in Craglorn. I hop onto another character that's in Stormhaven and no problems at all. After like 25 minutes I finally did get on my original character only to have incredible latency and lagged out just before I could reach the wayshrine to get out. A couple more tries later I did finally get them out of Craglorn and haven't had any issues since.

Some people in my guild have been running into massive lag spikes in other maps too and issues with the game hanging up on loading screens when changing zones. So while Craglorn seems to be pretty bad, there's definitely other places having the similar problems.

happening to me right now, switching characters or traveling between zones

I can play fine on any toon once logged in, no problems, if I switch, I have to close the game and re-log and then log into the toon I want to play on

We have all the botters to thank for this 'new' feature where we are constantly being DCed from the game. I'm on PC/EU and the game has been unplayable for me since the patch.

As much as I hate to say it, but as an ESO+ subscriber, I don't feel that I'm getting my money's worth right now.

I would appreciate some form of response from ZOS (@ZOS_GinaBruno) about this issue.

random 3-5k ping spikes right now. Checked my internet connection, it's definitely ESO this time.
Tons of people unable to zone into Wayrest or Craglorn so far (guild chat).

The game is not playable right now with these lag spikes.

Had difficulties on Monday night, they seemed to be better last night until I tried to log into my character in Belkarth. Mostly wouldn't load and the one time it did load, I had ping over 8000 and couldn't even pay to port to some place else. When I tried, game just crashed.

High Ping rates on multiple characters today (yesterday it was just the first one in my login list).

Today it was my first two characters, getting 15000ms pings, then eventually I get booted.

Same issue. Mostly fine if staying in the same zone, though pings vary greatly. If I try zoning I'm kicked out and it takes numerous attempts to get back in.

I can't log in too, it kept prompting 'server timeout'. Once, I did manage to get to the character loading screen, but the character load timed out too
