Part of the problem is the itemization design. The trait system made it about the trait not the item or the setSweetpea704 wrote: »I watched the interviews and was given a lot of hope when someone said that the rewards will get a lot better. Well, they aren't really better. It is nice that you get a helm. If it is prosperous or training, however, I am certainly not going to gold it out. So, the result is the same. More grinding. Grind, grind, grind. Sometimes I can find some good guildies to grind gear. Sometimes, I find okay players that aren't up to the content in WGT or COS and the experience is like 2 hours of root canal - then, to top it off - you get your light, prosperous Velidroth Helm. Not. Better.
The last couple of days, I've gone into a few Vet Dungeons for pledges and we were trying for some weapons and jewelry. Not one chest. Not one. What the crap? It has happened twice now. Once in Vaults of Madness and once in City of Ash. In COA, a buddy and I went back through the dungeon just to be sure - nothing.
So, in our guild, there has developed a whole host of urban legends about RNG. They say that if your luck is bad, switch characters, or log out and then log back in, quit playing that toon for the day. Blah, blah, blah. Please tell me this isn't so. I've worked on my tank for over a year now. I don't want to switch to have better luck. I just want you to understand that after a 15 minute boss fight, a training helmet is just the same as not getting one.
. If it did, maybe I wouldn't care what trait I got on my helm. And don' t even get me started about the crates. A dude in this same guild spent a hundred and twenty dollars on crates and didn't get a storm mount. He also didn't have enough gems to buy one. That is totally messed up. I understand about needing to make money, but don't kill the goose to get the golden eggs.Does your guild have a skooma den somewhere?

It is messed up that he gambled and lost?

But, I've also made it my personal mission to help anyone in my guild get the monster helm that they want, regardless of whether they are an elite player or not. I just want better rewards like the interview promised in Pax West. Going through a few dungeons with no chests is not better. Giving toons with over 600 CP a Training helmet is insulting. I've given up the daily quests and just buy motifs because the quests have such a low chance of dropping anything good. Congrats on your RNG. It must be amazing.
She/He's not asking to get everything "for free".. it's rather to get a fair reward for your time and energy invested.Would you rather they just hand everything to everybody? I wouldn't.
