I'm trying to decide between Plague Doctor, Knight-Errant's Mail or Ebon Armory For my Tank. Right now I'm using clever alchemist (5), song of lamae (4) and endurance accesories (3). This is the set up I run for solo content. It has served me well in grouped instances, but I'm thinking for dungeons I could run something that benefits more my tanking role.

These 3 sets caught my eye most and before I begin the farming-palooza I wanna which of them is most popular.

For group content your build hurts my head. Why clever alchemist? Of what you listed ebon is by far the most used pve but its much more useful in trials.

Plague doctor tends to be used in templar blazing shield builds for pvp.

If your genuinely interested in good tank builds (that are more useful groupwise)

I mostly play alone and the damage boost helps a bit when wandering alone, I do mean it things die quick. Since I haven't had the time to farm mats or farm at all I go with what I have. Not that it has hindered me at all mind you. Im at 24.6k Health and 24K Stamina without food and 31k health, 30k Stamina with food, ressistances at 32k CP 505. I do a good job tanking vets.

That and I also hate playing with the meta. It takes away originality and creativity And I wanted to make a good solo tank that receives a good damage boost while keeping survivability. Not that I need the 3 tanking sets I mentioned but they do sound like a nice addition

Well on my high elf templar I would run 5 storm knight, 5 seducer, and malubeth set. Ppl in group were always in awe when I could wipe a entire mob or take major chunks of life off bosses just while tanking. Only problem is that sometimes you dont want to kill the mobs or mini bosses or boss too quickly. Run what you like thou, embrace the anti-meta
