Lag after today's patch on PC NA is so bad

I'm not sure what was in that maintenance but people all over are noticing the same and talking about it zone . Random ping spikes and rubber banding , screen freeze and crashes . @ZOS_GinaBruno , it's real messy in there .

Trying all the work arounds , disabling addons , new shader file ... Nothing helps yet . Suppose I could start a new live folder and see if that works .

I heard that both PSN and Xbox Live were DDoSed today. Are the console platforms experiencing similar issues to PC right now as well or is this irregularly poor performance PC-specific?

Maybe the longer than normal maintenance is just causing a higher volume of people to access the server now?

Or maybe they just ducked something up.

Fixed an issue where add-ons using EVENT_ACTION_SLOT_UPDATED could cause a decrease in performance when a monster died and you had a Destruction Staff equipped.

Really ? Gawd I wish those dorks would knock it off and just not buy the game if they hate it that much ... Some of us would like to continue on with our addiction without interruption .

This is insane. I am lagging in areas I never lag, opening containers is causing me lag. I still haven't turned off my addons to check... So I suppose there is a possibility it's one of them /s

I actually find it all quite funny. When they're doing their thing, all the bluster they spout about being untouchable only to see them in the media a few months later, getting dragged into to court, all crying like little *** and their parents claiming they have some sort of mental disorder.

I keep getting spikes that hit 999+ for a few seconds. It's not been this bad in a while.
