If I use Nikulas HA set for reflection in PvP or Duel, which attacks would it reflect, Crystal Frags, Force Pulse ???

Anything over 8m is considered ranged. If it uses magicka, it is considered a spell. And if it is not a channel then it would be a projectile.

It would have to be all three of these things I believe.

I think, when it comes to spell projectiles, if you can dodge it, you can reflect it. Just about any spell that you can cast can be reflected, so it's better to ask: what can't be reflected? Off the top of my head...

    Radiant Destruction
    Daedric Curse
    Soul Strike
    Lightning staff heavy attack
    Restoration staff heavy attack
    Meteor
    Any AoE

Is that it? I think that's it.
The annoying thing is this, practically speaking, takes range out of the picture for magical users against a flappy mDK, forcing you to get up close to use AoEs, which by design are less damaging than single target spells because they can hit more than one target. But then you get close to that mDK to use AoEs and get locked down and whipped to death because SURPRISE! there's no root immunity and you're not a medium-armor-using shuffler.

The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?

I don't think the caster has be more than 8 meters away, they just have to be using a skill that can reach more then Melee ranged. Which would preclude any AoE skills.

Good rule of thumb, if the skill says it works on one enemy as opposed to multiple enemies, then that skill can be reflected. In the gray area where a skill can hit one enemy and affect others, such as the splash damage from Crystal Blast for instance, it would only be the main attack that can be reflected, not the splash damage.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Entropy, eclipse and fossilize can't be reflected either.

Which is to say, there really are very few damaging spells that can't be reflected.
