I recognized most of the spots you highlighted in the "Kisses from Cyrodiil." I've been hanging around Cyrodiil for a long time now, plus, there once was a time of larger pops and many instances (buff servers) where I had time to roam around. I enjoy roaming from time to time to remind me of what I am fighting for.
Seriously though, there are so many awesome POI in Cyrodiil that were obviously left unfinished. Use those to shake things up.
I just thought of a cool idea._____
Certain POI will have scheduled quests that occur throughout a cyrodiil day and night. Off the top of my head I am thinking about an escort mission that has a similar mechanic as a scroll grab. The scenario plays like this:
An Alliance NPC at the quest gate will have "reports from the field."
When you/group talk to the NPC, they will share one of the POI quests, I'm using my escort quest for this example.
Dialog example: "Soldier! We have reports of a VIP/Caravan/etc... in distress! We can't let the filthy _(enemy faction here)_ get their hands on them. We need you escort the target back to the safety of _(location here)_ ((like maybe a city that you control so that cities have more meaning, or a keep or gate, though sounds exploitable at that point)) Quickly! There isn't much time!
From here you get the marker on your map and begin the race against any enemies that received their version of the quest at their gate.
When you arrive there is a quick mechanic that gives you the target to escort. (like picking up a scroll, but not just a glowing backpack obviously)
From here you try to get them to the extraction point or whatever you want to call it, but like a scroll, the enemy can ambush and hijack the target.
You return the target and finish the quest and go back to war until another event happens, or what have you.
That is a basic creative idea. The rewards would have to be gold, AP, and exp... Not sure how to add a benefit to the alliance war scoring in general, but maybe also get the "blessings of war" buff or a new similar buff.Edited by Bazeric on December 12, 2016 9:09AMLooking for broken things in hopes they may be fixed.
