Have I messed up?

I recently decided to craft my first set for my stamblade and opted for 5x NMG and 3x HR. However, I've only just discovered that many people would actually prefer 5x HR and 3x NMG due to the weapon damage bonus. Have I messed up or is it still viable?

It is still viable . Use it until you are ready to make a new build . That's what I would so . I ran NMG a long time on my old stamblade .

NMG is better, unless you're in a group with someone else running the set

I'd say go with it :)

if you do 5 nmg and 5 sunderflame, you actually are in a good place for an anti-tank armor debuffer as well.

I like this idea. You can really use it to put pressure on a tank that is used to mitigating a lot of damage.

Strictly speaking you should usually have both in your inventory. Ask the DPS you run with if they wanna run night mothers and switch to hunding primary if they do. That way your allways covered.

Just to clarify, is it only possible to get the x5 bonus? For example if I craft a full set of NMG (chest, shoulders, hands, feet and legs) and then craft some more NMG (head, waist and weapons) does it give an extra x3 bonus or only take into account the original 5 items?

It depends so much on who you speak with!

I did exactly the opposite as you did (5x HR and 3x NMG) and my guildies went crazy because I didnt craft 5x NMG and 3x HR.

To be honest, I am still using the 5x HR and my damage is just fine (I am a stamina NB). Depending on who you ask, you'll get different answers. Just try the build for yourself and if you're satisfied with the damage, there is nothing to worry about. If you're not, just craft the other set. Cheers!

    Only x5 bonus.
