4000 Crowns for TONS of furniture or the equivalent of hundreds of stacks of wood, improvement mats, hundreds of thousands of gold, many hours of boring preparation, etc - which would you pick?
Don't pick Gold Septims just yet people! They might follow route with their Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia scheme when it comes to buying a nice house with furniture with Gold vs Crowns. We just don't know yet

Exactly.
And that's why I think Gold prices of houses & furniture cost will be way too high in proportion to Crown costs.
Hopefully this is not the case. We just have to wait and see.

✭Neither, at least in the very beginning.
I'll until the first wave of bugs appear (an expansion without - or with minimal - bugs is not ZOS standards), wait them to be reported, wait the most severe of them to *maybe* get fixed, then wait for the Crowns version to see how much better looking they'll be, wait some more time for the angry to dissipate (XD) and only then I'll decide what to do.

Although if any of the Crown exclusives catch my eye and fit any of my characters, I might get it.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

✭✭✭✭✭Gold SeptumsThis decision will be if eso makes MMO 2017 or not? Will they be reasonable or will they not? We have three options of homes which makes it seems like there is consideration for novice to veteran and casual and hardcore.
Apartment is free - a good lure, but these better be more than comestic
Small home - sorta like a town home so reasonable price would be - 50k
Medium home - good white color worker - 200k
Large Home - fitting into the corporate world - 1 million
Don't you agree these are fair prices?
In regards to crowns... I don't see it being a good option. Think about it hair cost $5 dollars, horses and mounts have trended to be $25 dollars (same price as dlc). Then is it not reasonable for it to cost 5500 crowns. For something purely cosmetic this is ridiculous price. So in that thought if houses have more features like they should then we can talk.

My mortgage payments should be about 15 gold a month but I'll likely default on making those payments due to a skooma addiction.

I use the crown store when I like a mount / pet that I know there is no other possible way to get it, but with housing (apart from the exclusive ones) since gold purchase is an option, that's how I will buy my home. I have been saving money and I assume I have enough for a medium house^^
And as per the crown store exclusive houses, well, I guess I can live without a luxurious island retreat

I'll be using crowns. I work a lot of hours so real money is easier for me to get then grinding. That all said though I'm not sure whether I'll get one right away. I really want a house in Anvil or Kvatch. The q&a said no dlc right now but hinted at they being later. I'm guessing the dlc homes will be the exclusive crown homes mentioned.
