Need help with installing, no one on tech forums
I've been trying to install the game for two days now and it is only at 20% on the Bethesda Launcher.... it's only DL at 350kb/s and I usually run somewhere in the MB/s range. Anyone know why it would be downloading at such a slow pace? About 16hours I have had this up and only 20% that's insane. I went into the launcher settings and my DL speed is UNLIMITED so idk what's going on - NO OTHER GAMES that I have DL have done this.
I tried to start over as well and after the launcher installs direct X and some other pre-req it disappears and I can't pull it up anywhere but it shows the ESO icon on my taskbar and ***.
This is so frusturating and I can't find any answers anywhere - anyone here have ANY idea??

✭✭✭✭✭I noticed that the download speed will deteriorate over time.
When that happens, i usually pause (not cancel) the download for a minute or so and then resume.
At 350kb/s the initial download will take forever ...

✭Are you downloading through steam? If so, make sure to check the download region. Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads tab and check that the region is nearest to you, if not, change it. You can also try different regions near you and maybe it will help.0 -

THANK YOU for all of your comments I tried everything but it didn't change... but I wake up this morning and SOMETHING happened bc now it is playable and it's downloaded!!
