I hopped over to PTS after downloading it and realized I would have to spend time leveling a toon and essentially redoing everything I've already done in my main game. So grinding again for the sake of testing. Do they not clone accounts? I thought I had read that we would have a cloned account.

✭✭Check the upper left corner in the character creation window. There is a drop down menu where you can choose what level and alliance you want to start with.
Of course there is always the generic start from level 1 character creation, but unless you've got a good reason for doing that on PTS, go with the "predefined" leveled builds. These include a plethora of gears, mats, motifs etc to get you started on trying out sets with different glyphs etc.

✭✭✭✭✭There is currently no PTS testing cycle in progress. the one for the next update is expected to start in January.
When there is the US travellers they get copied for about the first two weeks and the EU travellers must use a template. Then the EU travellers get copied from live and the US travellers must use a template for the remainder of the testing time.

Select a template.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
