Campaign Scoring

I'm all for campaigns where resources, outposts, keeps, and scrolls all count towards scoring. That said, I have never understood why they all count as 1 point. Why is a resource weighted the same as a scroll? That makes absolutely no sense. There should be some sort of weight for each objective when it comes to scoring, otherwise people who are serious about a campaign (and this happens currently) just capture a bunch of resources before each score count. Change it so that it is something like...

resources = 1 point
towns/outposts = 3 points
keeps = 5 points
scrolls = 10 points

Each of these require vastly different numbers/coordination to capture and scoring should reflect that.

    Hmmm probably would just mean more people abusing Alts to steal the scrolls

    I see that as a separate issue but on that note I am totally in favor of restricting accounts to one alliance per campaign. Feel free to make characters in each alliance but you shouldn't be allowed to have two from different alliances in the same campaign.

    I am total agreement with this sentiment. First of all, by restricting entry into campaigns, it would put all of the zerg babies on one campaign. No more swapping alliances on the same campaign to play one side and then boost AP for you friends by standing there at a resource so they can kill you and reap the benefits. No more swapping alliances and flipping all the keeps back. No more filling up TF with 50+ raids and then putting the rest of your people on DC to have them aid your efforts on AD. I've seen DC and AD fighting side by side against EP and then breaking up without hitting each other once we were dead.

    Breaking up the zergs or just having a 'LARGE ZERG ONLY' campaign would be so nice. Then I can avoid it like the plague with my little eight-player groups. LOL

    Also, stop the group entering in campaigns. The only reason all the campaigns are open without restriction is because a bunch of whiners were QQ-ing about not being able to play with their buddies. The solution was easy. Just home that campaign. However, that wasn't what they really wanted. They really wanted to be able to zerg down one map entirely and PVdoor it while swapping campaigns and doing it again.

    I find that while ZOS may be excellent in their story lines and graphics, fair with their technical issues, they fail utterly to consider the human element and behavior when figuring things out for PVP or even in the PVE sections. The cheating and exploiting is totally out of hand. Builds and skills are without a doubt, geared to the 1VX'ers who QQ and whine until they get what they want. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason why any one player should be able to survive getting pounded on by 10 other players and not only survive the encounter, but also take down the 10 other players.

    I am a little curious though. One developer used to play an AD nightblade in PVP. During that time, everyone rolled a night blade because those little guys were so OP. Then all of a sudden, we started seeing everyone rolling a Templar. come to find out, the developer was now playing a Templar on DC and those hefty guys were now the OP toons on the map. Coincidence? Or is there something more going on here than meets the eye? Let me just say that I am waiting for the next toon that a dev decides to roll and see what kind of results occur with that one. ;-)

    Well, that was my soapbox for the day. Thanks for indulging. Let the trolling begin.
