Unresistable / Daedric damage glyph bugged?

Is the Daedric damage (originally called unresistable damage) glyph bugged ? I just tested this out vs a sorc that only spammed shields, and it didn't appear like my weapon enchant damaged him through his shields. When I swapped into 5 piece shield breaker, only then did my bow attacks go through his shields.
Did it ever have a "goes through shields" functionality? Can anyone else confirm this?

Alanar✭✭✭✭I believe unresistable means it ignores armor (resistance), not that it goes through shields. Haven't tested though.0 -
AdicusDio✭✭✭I used to use this, then dropped it after viewing some logs. When it pops, which is rare, it is considered a "damage health" effect, and oddly enough, doesn't seem to scale with physical CP (i.e. Mighty) upgrades. Damage was right at 1900, which is a joke.
Better off running fire, lightning, or poison and just deal with enemies that have a resistance. All 3 of those will do roughly double the damage vs. what you are using.0
