If we can have it on loan every once in awhile that would be great. I love me a good bleakers farm myself but avoid it since its not in our interests.

Don't know if it's the same story in EP/DC but after taking an extended break from the game and just recently returning to pvp i've noticed 3 things..

1. Defying all logic, the anti zerg measures have resulted in more zerg play than ever
2. A lot of the experienced players seem to have left the game or switched to pve
3. The vast majority of the player base now are low rank/inexperienced with a higher player turnover

This means every day in cyrodiil has become a repeating storyline - AD running to swords/choke points continuously getting farmed by a handful of organised groups, little to no communication or motivation in zone to come together and take objectives, an otherwise static/boring map.

Pretty much every keep defense I've played since returning (during oceanic time mind you) I've seen half the defenders get wiped on the outer walls once they are breached because they have no idea the enemy has broken through - then half of whatevers left get wiped at the top of inner while they're still light attacking down on to the porch.

I mean... just... what happened?

There's some natural turnover to players and leaders but yeah Oceanic time / NA morning and early afternoon is more rough than NA Primetime, where there are plenty of organized groups on all sides.

It does seem that in addition to the more established organized groups, AD has a fair number of newish leaders learning the ropes - people we should support.

So AD appreciates whatever you can do when you're on man - help out solo, join whoever is running a group and help them be effective, or start a group of your own.

The only prerequisite to being a good leader is having a lot of patience, some basic knowledge of tactics, and being willing to communicate in a positive fashion... I'm definitely learning myself.

that's actually not just AD, that's DC and EP as well

there are a lot of seasoned players around still, watch the zone chat, sometimes they make an appearance and try to guide people (for better or worse)

Probably the funniest thing I've seen is how arrogant your faction gets. As predicted, AD's blood-lust to pull DC away from first place resulted in EP being able to overtake AD for first place with 60+ avg point ticks and a 200 point lead.

Good news for us, is that we are very close to taking the second place slot. If we can't stop EP, at least we can give AD their plastic "participation trophy".

You know what man, I'm totally fine with EP being in first place right now - hell maybe they'll even win - I think we talk a lot about keeping Trueflame competitive except instead of thinking about what our own faction can do differently to facilitate that, we point blame at others for zerging / stacking / whatever.

Well, EP had been in last place for several months in a row and frankly I was getting kinda tired of kicking a Nord while their down. That, and DC has been the clear late-campaign powerhouse for 3 cycles so I figured hey, why not encourage AD to give EP some breathing room and change the dynamic. I have nothing against DC - I think I communicate my respect often. Take it as a compliment.

As I try to elude to in my silly werewolf RP, I'm interested in doing what I can as an individual to keep TF a competitive, interesting, 3-faction war.

EP clearly has their legs securely under then ATM, if nothing has changed since last night they are still in first place, so yes right now they are a logical target.

I want AD to win and I think it's more interesting for everyone if we try our freakin best for the next two weeks, and I think we can win.

But I'm not afraid to lose - and especially if it's partly because of being a good sport early in the campaign.

Just want to say I'm really impressed with the huge effort put in by every AD guild this weekend.

But we've got a long road ahead of us. Do you think EP/DC are gonna offer us ice cream and massage our feet? You think they gonna buy us a little box of chocolates with a bow on it? No! They're gonna keep pounding our faces.

AD has already demonstrated that we are made steel. Now show them we eat lightning and crap thunder!

Yeah - I'm starting to just expect it every day. Unfortunately late last night the pug groups we were able to rally were not able to take back Roe and Brindle - we just kept getting zerged down. Sundays/Mondays are generally a pretty off night for AD so whatevs. Just keep having fun.
