yes, in all caps. Cmon ZOS it has been over a year and still no buff timers. I understand it is important to have all these new additions to the game for many reasons, but could you at least put one of the plethora of interns or developers on a matter that actually matters to every player regardless of class, race, or pve/pvp centrality? Its like building a car without a speedometer or fuel gauge and then focusing your efforts on how the car looks. Performace>>>>>>>>>>Accessories. L2Develop....GetGud ZOS

    You do realize PC doesn't have this either. A seperate mod creator did this so technically you'd have to wait on ZOS adding this to the game.

    It's not like they're just not doing for one and have done so for the other.

    Perhaps a better request is to do away with the console UI so they can better focus on one UI and drastically shorten all update requests

    They should have been introduced a long time ago. However, the lack of these tools doesn't prevent people from improving themselves. If you (in fact, your muscle memory) know the rotation and adapt it to different fights to optimize your damage, that's what matters. And it is easily noticeable when yourself/your group doing something wrong when the bosses' health go down slower then expected.

    They will be a nice addition, but they are not game breaking.

    Lmao you know bufftrackers in PVE are far more useful than in PVP? You need bufftrackers in PVE to do optimal DPS and maximize your rotation. No such thing in PVP. I actually know quite a lot of people who don't use a bufftracker in PVP at all, just to have a cleaner UI.

    @UppGRAYxDD

    Actually they intentionally created a TES games using a MMO mega server.

    It was never intended to be like any MMORPG from the start.

    Go read the news section and development section of the website from the first pages. That may help to understand what this game intends to be and why some of the assumed items you may see in other games played on a MMO server aren't present

    Lol, of course I would get this response. It would be nice to have buff timers to know when to cleanse dots off and to know when your defensive buffs were gonna run out. Visual indicators are not enough, and frankly its blatantly ignorant that the game devs have not included buff timers on PC or console yet.

    Isn't a message saying cleanse now a bit op? May as well just not have dots. That's a step too far imo. You'll just get stalemates and may as well just fist fight.

    Exactly that. It was completely intentional, part of the minimal UI design. To be honest I don't think the addons for buff tracking were even intending during development either.

    Yes, they intentionally made an mmo for people who dont want to play mmos. Or they had no idea what they were doing. Take your pick.

    Initially the UI was very open...but I think around 30 days befor PC release it was changed and made many upset but the devs said they didn't want this to look and feel like another MMO.

    I find that people struggle to comprehend a server type isn't a type of game.

    It's the server that will drive development decisions but this is a RPG game played online.

    Everything else asthe devs have always discussed is intended to be different than any other game.

    Literally they even said the look was to be better than TES which is why their characters aren't similar and the armor.

    Incorrect. Console players are doing EVERYTHING PC players are completing; VMA, VDSA,VET TRIALS, PVP. Without the helping hand of add-ons. We don't have a hand to hold while doing all the same tasks. Therefore making console players better.

    Don't worry though. I'm confident that you'll get your way eventually. I can't recall the last time ZOS made a change that required you to be more talented of a player afterwards. Oh wait, there was that time when they reduced the duration of shields, and made cloak useless by removing its purge.

    The only skill that really needs a buff timer imo is Crit Surge in vMA. Watching Fengrush run vMA with the giant ass crit surge counter that takes up like 10% of the screen is hilarious, and also something I wish I had.

    If you PvE enough -- or play with the same build and/or class enough, you'll get the rotation down well enough to where you're recasting abilities at the correct time anyway. You can sit down with a friend in tank gear and literally go through rotations until you figure out how many of X ability you can spam until you're required to recast 'Y' & 'Z' ability so that the buffs/dots never actually fall off without being recast too early. It sounds a lot more complicated that it is.

    You build your rotation by casting your dots in order from longest to shortest -- and figuring how many times you can hit your spammable ability before they need to be recast.

    @Destyran

    LOL I have no idea why they would but people are arguing they should. My thoughts are to play on the platform that offers the options you want.

    Now in terms of the feature itself, they don't own the rights and actually don't know all the ins and outs of a created mod cause they didn't create it.

    I'd imagine that the actual mod creator could offer them the option to use it with no charge and free support but that's unlikely.

    Also consider the UI mod is intentionally not offered by ZOS. It's not that they can't offer it, they chose not to for reasons....they've now said they will offer something in the future

    Ppl who want it have to wait and see
