Putting Velidreth on my Magplar was the most ridiculous and awesome thing I think I've ever done. I know it makes no sense. You'll get past that part really quickly. Worked great in PVP and trials DPS tonight.

PVP insano cancer build

Pokey sticks procks Velidreth every 9 seconds like clockwork and having the Jesus Beam do it just adds insult to injury. Mix in some of those health damage poisons and even Shatter Soul for a double proc explosion for maximum insanity.

I know what you're thinking ... why not Skoria? That's a great question. Mostly it just comes down to the pure ridiculousness of a Magplar procking 10k+ poison ticks, so why not?

And you thought Viper was bad. You did this to yourselves proc army. Now it's payback time.

    Velidreth is nice but misses one very important thing... It is player based proc, so it works only in melee range, so each tick of reflective light, entropy, radiant, blazing spear (so basicaly it leaves just sweeps/jabs) can proc it when you are not looking at target or when you are out of range. While this isnt a big issue in PvE, in PvP it makes this set almost useless for magplar (magDK is a total different storry) as most of magplar dmg skills are ranged. Additionaly Skoria has just 5s cooldown. Nope, sorry, it isnt game changing setup. TBH, for magplar even Blood Spawn was better for me than Veli (with recent buffs to Soul Assault and Destro Ult, being able to spam ultis is quite nice).

    Yep, in PvE a Magplar will almost always stand in melee range using Punctering Sweep and Reloading Trap and therefore in PvE Grothdarr ftw for magicka melee builds (magicka DK DD, magicka Templar DD). Sorcs use Ilambris and the poor NBs were somewhat forgotten and need to use Molag Kena (I wish much fun by trying to sustain it) or Valkyn.

    I can't even think of any reason why a Magplar uses Velidreth. VoM is one of the easiest (but also coolest) 4-men-instances to farm, even on vet and hm.

    Even the Duel wield ult looks entertaining even as a magplar.

    I'm running Skoria and it procs enough in PVE to make up for me being stupid.
    Reflective light. Elemental wall. Entropy. Ritual of retribution. Blazing spear. Bats or destro ult. Trash is toast.
    It never seems to be there when I really need it though in PVP or I'm already dead when it drops.

    One cannot say it worked great without showing what kind of dps you had in trials. Did you pull 30k dps or 45k dps on single target boss trials? Makes a huge difference.

    - Sorry for misspelling. Glad to see missing a letter or two shows "what kind of person" I am, though. Nice leap!
    - If you back bar a destro staff, and heavy attack constantly in between switching to your DPS bar for executes, it will proc constantly.
    - Yes, I got it at the Monster Vendor. I got the shoulder with a key and got lucky with the RNG.

    From memory, I believe it's spelt Ruzozuzalpamaz and I always say it like Roo-zoe-zoo-zal-pah-maz.

    Except PvP uses impen and the golden vendor is where I got mine for ap.
    Yet to make a build with the set yet, need to do that.

    Yet to make a build with the set yet, need to do that.

    I use all Divines and Infused for PVP. My helm is infused and my shoulders, I think, are Divines (dumb luck, could be infused) but I'm not in front of my XBox to confirm.

    This set up still leaves me with about 40k+ magic, and about 3000 unbuffed spell power. Health leaves a bit to be desired on this build admittedly but at 23.5k (in Cyrodiil) it's not horrendous. If I'm standing in my shiny Templar circle my resistances are about 29 and 28k and I get my 1003 crit resist from CP.
