Can I Turn Off ... ? **FIXED** I Think,LOL

I want to know if it is at all possible to turn off all in game sound and just have music only.

I have disabled all dialogue but I still hear my toon scream her head off when she falls 2 feet and it really REALLY gets on my nerves. I absolutely hate it.

I rather enjoy the music in the game and that's all I want to hear. No character voices,screaming like she does - its her screams just irks me so so much I wanna rip her voice box out.

You know when you create your toon and you can go through the sound files available during the creation and you pick the voice you prefer, I did this but I never heard such over done screaming except in the movies ever and I don't want to listen to it.

So I've got to play with my sound off so as I don't go mad and shoot myself (I don't have a gun) but I miss the music.

On PC? Audio Control Doctor is a nice addon.

Ok, so that particular addon has not had an update in well over 1 year.

Do you use the addon Betheny? I won't touch anything that's not been updated to current for stability reasons.

I already get in game LUA limit spam from too many addons apparently I have I think 13.

I did look at the other addons and I can't see one that will help for what I want, so it's play with sounds off I guess.

I use the addon, has no problems at all. It isn't a complex kind of addon that needs any libraries updates (doesn't use them).

You can adjust the LUA memory limit as well manually in user settings so you don't get warnings about going over, mine is at 768.
Find this line -

SET LuaMemoryLimitMB "768"

Set to any multiple of 128.

Good question OP! To tag along with your question i wonder if it is possible to turn off the annoying sound the Soul Shriven Horse makes? I love the looks of this mount but the sound it makes drives me nuts so i don't use it much at all!!

Well I had to do a Google search on how to adjust the LUA so for anyone else I found this post.

@Hammy01 I have turned off the Ambient sounds and that's fixed everything for me.

I still have the music which was what I was after so I don't need the addon now but many thanks for taking the time to help Betheny.

Turning off that I get no mount sounds, no spell casting sounds, no harvesting sounds but most of all no more SCREAMS!! Yay!!!
