As we recently have not heard any Infos regarding the current development status or what is coming up in the near future, I would like to throw this question at ZoS (I doubt it will be answered, but I'm hopeful;).
As we all know the Lootsystem in ESO currently is (partly) a disaster and a pure Grindfest. It literally (if your unlucky) takes hundreds of runs to get the gear you are after (even up to 1000+ for some unlucky few in vMA). Some even give up and never obtain the gear they are after. Frustration and the loss of build diversity is the result, because most people move to sets that are purchasable/craftable.
Trading with group members was a step in the right direction but the chance for some items (mainly vMA and Set-Weapons) are still a huge problem (that mainly came with 1Tamriel with all the new great sets added to dungeons and overland).
Weapons can drop in terrible combinations (Useless Traits, staves for stamina sets to name a few) and different weapon-types (Bow, Two-Handers; Staves, etc.) which minimizes the chance to get the one you actually want. This would not be as drastic if there was a balance between traits: Sharpened is excessively stronger in 99% of the cases. It is better to just use a setless crafted weapon than to use a suboptimal trait on a set item.
Many suggestions have been made:
- Token System
- Intelligent Lootsystem (only Stam sets drop on a stam character, only usefull traits on given item, etc.)
- etc.
My question is if you have any reworks or adjustments planned for the next DLC/Content-Patch? Thanks!
