Thank you for finally including them, Zenimax! :)

I mainly play as an Imperial Nightblade here and he usually wears his Imperial Medium Armor when adventuring.

When not adventuring, though, he oftentimes prefers to relax in Taverns and such in civilian clothes. Now he can remain Imperial even in relaxation. B)

Do your characters also slip off their armor and don their civvies when taverning and/or simply going about town?

Mine not, but I like the idea ^^. My bosmer wear casual clothes all the time, cause she's a healer and it doesn't look weird. I love imperial dresses from the crown store, but this new outfits you mentioned doesn't look good on women, too bad xD.

Absolutely. I usually try to blend into the background as if i'm an NPC.

Speaker Terenus thought it was a bad idea when I started wearing my bright red High-Collared Coin Ball Gown to perform my assassinations, not long after becoming Silencer. But maybe dear Elam likes it, who knows? Better than those awfully heavy dark robes.

Absolutely. I usually try to blend into the background as if i'm an NPC.

My healer, who is a Priestess, wears one of the Mages Guild outfits dyed white and brown to look like the many Priests of the Eight in the game. I'm proud to say she looks the part :)

Most of my characters change their outfits depending on the situation/climate. All of my characters who wear light armor wear outfits at all times, because I still see "light armor" as "cloth" so if I can wear mage robes in battle I can also wear a regular dress.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Not only do they do that, but my NB Laerinel is an assassin and thief. Often times she may have to disguise herself to enter a residence or estate to gain access to her target. So she has numerous costumes and outfits to make her presence more believable.

Does anyone know if the Imperial City Temple Tunic still has those massive clipping issues? The Elder Council Tunic and Sash is absolutely lovely and was a great purchase, but after testing on the PTS and it not being fixed for DB launch on live (there are some NPC that wear it), I'm pretty hesitant to buy the Temple Tunic.

Should my character wear either tunic even if he's in a tavern in (for example) Wayrest or Daggerfall?

Sure, absolutely. Folks don't always dress like the locals. Especially not gross Imperials who think they own every land they walk on. :3

Oh, I envy you, I haven't bought Mage Guild outfits pack when it was available, cause I was playing archer, and when archer should wear something like this? In this colors? 'Never!' I thought. And now I really regret, it's one of best costumes in game in my opinion. Best is elven hero which I don't have too, cause I drop the game for some time. :/

But there is so many things which can make our playing more immersive, thanks ZOS!
I hope we've get a bard personality some day... *dreaming*

Any reason why one of these Imperial tunics is 700 crowns and the other is 1000? Is there something special about the expensive one I am not seeing?

It has more detail than the other. Higher detail tends to fetch a higher price.
