Sets that buff specific moves

Just curious what everyone here would think of this.
5 piece bonuses that increase the duration of invisibility to 6 secs
Or increase dark flare defile by 25-50%
Increase hardened ward duration 75%
Increase Dk Wings duration by 100%

Maybe there is other issues to this but wanted some ideas/opinions

    I think those 4 examples are not the best 5th piece set bonus. Compared to other 5th bonuses, those are rather lack luster.

    I have plenty of ideas just didn't want them to be OP
    5pc crystal frags are always procced
    5pc Merciless resolve requires 2 light attacks
    5pc increase Aoe of Blazing spear to 10m
    5pc if enemy dies Eclipse moves to nearby target
    5pc Noxious Breath heals everyone for 50% dmg

    i like the sound of that,and i would love to craft that armor and wear it with that 5 piece bonus on it.

    Like Templar Javelin now travels to 3 people knocking them all down. These kind of builds would be awesome. You would build around one move so balancing would be tricky.

    I just figured it would be limited for balance purposes. You would be getting all you gear to increase one move in particular. So you couldn't be great at everything. Make them craftable so it would buff crafting market.

    Doing it that way would make you great at everything. In a group imagine a trial with each person having two or three OP skills.

    Consider some DPS rotations are fairly basic of 3-4 skills.

    Imagine one of your suggested sets mixed with another cause you can have two 5 set bonuses and add in a willpower set or something for a three piece bonus and that's waaaay OP in my opinion but for PvE it'll be awesome.

    Obviously things would need to be worked out for balancing. I just figured it would help flood the market of sets. Although I do appreciate the criticism. Maybe something like hard casting Crystal instantly procs a frag. Maybe even only do it on moves that arent used. It was just an idea I had a while back. And I thought about it again today. Like Brawler now hits in a 360 like steel tornado.

    having sets with the 5 pc bonus focused on enhancing one or two very select abilities would be great...

    I'm thinking a set that buffs the jesus beam to compensate for the upcoming nerf would be outstanding...

    I'll say this tho

    Don't back down on your ideas totally cause what makes a ton of sense is if for PvE and PvP any existing set could spike out specific skill effects depending on the environment


    Imagine in your example the set varies PvP to PvE
    That's something everyone would enjoy and we wouldn't have these nerfs as explained in their last ESO Live Friday

    I hear that the Crusader set does this, you just have to dodge-roll before activating Cloak.
    The extra dodge time makes it so you don't get pulled back out by lag related projectile nonsense.

    Yes...lets give sorcerers a cheap spammable ability that can easily do 15k damage...all of those are quite Overpowered yes. And don't get me started on noxious breath cause it deals poison damage, and adding the healing factor just wouldn't make sense. Not to mention you're focusing on skills. 5pcs shouldn't affect a singular ability, making it useless for other classes. Don't you agree?

    I remember when I first started pvping toward the end of '15...I couldn't wait to level up and get wrecking blow - great move...had it for a couple of months and then they nerfed it :(

    Wrecking Blow 5th Set Bonus: Wrecking Blow is now able to be activated from 22m or less and will launch you toward the opponent. When it connects it knocks the enemy back twice as far as the distance traveled. The target also suffers fall damage depending on the distance knocked back.

    Yeaaaaah! This would be too much fun in PvP, but also would make me PvP a lot more due to the hilarity of launching people so far away. Maybe even remove the damage? Damn, I kinda want this to happen now...
