    But also, ~ The New Life festival comes a few days early in Wayrest with Saturalia, traditionally held on the 25th of Evening Star. Originally a holiday for a long forgotten god of debauchery, it has become a time of gift giving, parties, and parading. Visitors are encouraged to participate.

    So probably Jan 1st..

    It was from a thread here, I know @Lumbermill_Emperor had the same opinion, I think the true date was mentioned him their thread.

    As far as I've read, it's on December 15th. Considering the Witches Festival display showcase item's had the start date of the special items for the Witches Festival were going to be available during the event. Which confirms basically when they announced the dates for the New Life Festival special items will be released on December 15th, during the New Life Festival. :) So assuming they mentioned "December 15th, during New Life Festival", in my opinion it's starts on that day. :hushed::wink: Sorry if i'm wrong, but I don't see how they would mention that if it wasn't going to be around or even on that date. :smile:

    As a more general thing if anyone doesn't want to watch the video, it's not boss grinding like the Witches Festival -
    at least this is the way it was when I tested it on the PTS - there are several daily quests that you can pick up at the festival tent one after the other, and they are mostly solo quests that involve things like throwing snowballs at certain NPCs, fishing in special fishing spots (not the normal in game ones, anyone who hates fishing does not need to panic too much), running a race against time, or entertaining revelers at a particular location. You can do all the quests each day on each character.

    So its activities for motifs / cosmetics on the whole that correct? No XP gains or anything (not being greedy, asking for a mate who missed Witches haha)

    Seems so. Which means we won't need to look at our characters with a polymorph that gets boring after a day

    Apparently there was an XP boost from drinking from a keg but khajiit she missed that - already too drunk to be thinking about one more keg perhaps yes?

    Yes, you can drink from a keg in the festival tent and get an XP boost for 2 hours (at least that is how it worked on the PTS)
