Well, for one, the game is much darker on Xbox One.
I think that they really fixed some performance issues with some proc sets.
Grothdar, Infernal Guardian and a few more were basically "pausing" dungeons for a second for me before the patch. This seems to be corrected now. The freezes for when a lot of enemies died and when using Repentence on a lot of bodies also seem to be gone.
As usual, nothing was done to fix Cyrodiil.
Went back to PvP wishing they had fixed AT LEAST ONE THING, but still got long loading screens on my first travel, dashboarded and kicked out of Cyrodiil every 20/30 minutes (as were basically everyone in our group), incredible lag, perma roots, invisible Eye of the Storm everywhere, loading screens after fixing walls, being already dead after a long loading screen, being dead in overland with only options to revive in Cyrodiil...

What is your opinion on the patch ?
Unless you have a mastery of brewing and alchemy, and have spent your life savings on all DLC's I think this patch is irrelevant for general play. I was hoping for something substantial and noticeable like a winter/new years themed thing making an emergence. I am also praying for a better guild trading UI. Anyways wbu?

It's not darker but it's darkening what should be dark and enhancing light where present with vibrant colors.
One of my characters can't even log in, it's an alt parked at the stables in Grahtwood, and it's stuck in an enless "requesting character load" screen.
Tried restarting game, but nothing seems to work.
Other characters load fine though.

I think you have a typo "HDR" not HDD right?
I'd say no it's not an HDR thing as I don't have a 4K HDR TV nor do I use an Xbox One S
I still have new visuals and lighting which I'd say is improved other than the slower loading high Rez textures.

The reason its hard to fix is because you are literally loading every character in cyrodill and all the things that they are doing. That is a massive amount of data. You probably wont experience flawless play in PvP unless you have a 1 gig+ connection. It's not them, its us. AvAvA was a terrible idea. They should of made it into arena or battleground type play with 20v20v20 max on a smaller map that would of made it way less laggy for the majority of people. But hopefully since they introduced dueling thats not to far away.
The festival itself hasn't started yet, but all the assets are in place, meaning all they need to do is turn it on. I think the festival starts on the 15th.Were we notified about this? or did I miss it ?AzraelKrieg wrote: »The New Life Festival things should already be present in the game.
