DPS Craftable Armour Sets

So recently I've been thinking about crafting a set of medium armour and some new weapons for my stamblade. I've decided to go with NMG for the first five slots but I can't decide what to choose for the rest of my gear (I don't fancy TBS due to its tendency to forget the second Mundus Stone).

Are there any other craftable sets that you'd recommend or can I just go all out NMG?

pretty much crafted sets are:

Stamina : NMG & hundings rage

Magi : Julianos & Torug

Both : Twice born star. It's boring as ***, but TBS is probably BiS with any armour pen set to compliment and a proc monster set. *YAWN*

Some tanks use Tavas, some healers use Kagrenac.

Pretty much everything else crafted isn't used.

IMO theres 1 crafted set thats worth anything in pvp, clever alchemist. Thats how "fly" crafting is.

It forgets your Mundus when you take a piece of gear off or have dome brilliant idea of putting it on your DW bar.

TBS is solid.

Kavatch Gladiator is a strong set no one talks much about.

I use Gladiator and love it. I can't believe it gets no props.

crafting needs a lot of love, but I will admit a lot of strong dps builds are using these sets.
It's not like crafting is useless, it's just that 80% of the available options are bad.

Also with Sharpened being WAY better than everything else and the way weapons drop from dungeons is stupid, it's MUCH easier to just get 2 sharpened swords or daggers + 3 armour slots in NMG and then fill out jewellery and the last 2 armour slots from a drop set.

This will easily get anyone off the ground for a solid DPS build without the farming nightmares of trying to get those sharpened viper 1 handers.

That's my point. I'm always checking out new styles and having to backtrack all the way to the Shadow in order to reactivate it would just do my head in. Kvatch Gladiator looks fairly decent though, so thanks.

Gladiator only really works for certain builds in certain situations.
Unless what you're fighting has a ton of hp the bonus damage doesn't last long enough to be worth while, especially since it's only applied to your light and heavy attacks.

If you ARE fighting something with that many HP then you're getting through say, 3 million HP with no 5th set bonus at all so that ONLY your light and heavy attacks get a damage buff. Also, because this is the execute phase, it's the shortest part of the fight.

So, in a nut shell, this can be good for overpower sorcs to combine with elegant and kenna to bump their DPS in the execute phase and that's about it.

Ultimately, in my opinion, you're better off having slightly more dps the entire time than a burst of dps right at the end when the fight is pretty much done anyway.
