What level you suggest to do Brotherhood qoest

I am level 40 Nightblade and I can't defeat boss Grand Sermionizer. Boss do insane damage and what crappy brotherhood skill doesn't work. They just mess up with brotherhood quest. First quest was interesting because you can kill only one target and sneak around. More you do brotherhood quests more it gets boring because you not assassin just regular killer.

Skyrim still the best game that Bethesda manage to make.

This game just a regular MMO game without interesting mechanic. Useless developers.

Try it again when you have 160CP.

Having said that... None of the solo PvE content in eso is very challenging. Sounds like you may need to learn the class and gear mechanics a little more rather than blaming the gane and developers.

If its the quest i recall, key to victory is range or block/dodge as target has telegraphed yuge hit. Deal with that and its easy.

What about then 5 npc attacks you? You pull one and far away from boss but all of them coming. I no way to defeat boss with four extra npc. They didn't scale these quest by you level. At least they could recommend minimum level so people don't waist time trying build or skills.

You need to be level 50 and have champion points if you play with night blade. Now in quest log it says for level 40. They didn't redesigned all quest for one tamriel. I waisted 5 hours to try to do that quest.

Find me a build where I can defeat 4 enemies and plus boss with night blade. Easy to talk but where no results. On quest journal is says current level? Does it make sense.

I tried many builds and I fed up to re-spec skills and attributes with money.

    What weapons are you using?

Nightblades have Aspect of Terror that will fear anyone and give you time to deal with them. There are other crowd control options available depending what weapons you're using, but Aspect of Terror is one of the best for Nightblades.

Any self sustain ability is practically a must have on any bar, especially if you intend to do any harder content than the solo quests. Vigor (Alliance War Skill Tree) - Strife (NB Siphon Skill Tree) - Drain Power (NB Siphon Skill Tree). Or one I think is one of the best abilities in the game Soul Shred morph: Soul Tether.

It's probably best to have some AOE as well. Depending on your weapon, you have a lot of choices.

Nb have the tankiest aoe option in siphon. You can just block and spam the adds down then focus on the boss.

This really isn't the case. You probably need to better learn ESO mechanics.

Instead talking a lot, better write what build you will use to to fight with strong boss and four enemies? Especially with this quest

It's not even close to a strong boss. The best advice anyone can give you is to learn the basics.

A problem with ESO is that it's so forgiving, new players may not be at all prepared for something a little more challenging than normal.

I suggest browsing the forums @ tamrielfoundry.com to learn the basics about how to build a character.

With that attitude, I feel it prompt to advise to not bite the hand that feeds you.

You asked for help, I offered multiple abilities that would significantly assist you in your quest. Sorry if it was "talking a lot".

By the way, my DD characters can handle bosses that hit way harder than any solo content bosses, while dealing with over half a dozen enemies of tier one elite status, alone.

Sounds like you have a "play like you want build" try going to tamriel foundry and learn the basics of this game to perform the best to your aability. the fact you have trouble with that boss indicates its not the boss that is hard but is you. change your rotation or armor setup.

    @Robotukas

Without more info on your att spends, skills avail, weapons and gear sets, potions, food avail its not really possible to give much constructive feedback.

The advice for a stamina NB will be much different from a magica NB and at only char level 40 its possible for many skills to be unavailable to you depending on what you have worked at leveling and morphing.

But i have played thru that db content with several chars and its not unplayable and does not require lvl 40 cp160 to complete.

    Stop pulling them

Walk in, don't go anywhere close to any of them. They will start coming to you, 2 of them will come at you at a time. Wait till they are close enough to you that you don't aggro the others. The second set should start walking/attacking at you after you kill the first. When they are dead the Grand Sermonizer should come down to you with the 2 that are left standing with her.

So now you are only fighting the 3 of them. Take out the adds while avoiding her lightning spell. Then fight her alone.

Make sure your gear is your level, appropriate for your build, and most importantly it is not in need of repair. May as well be fighting naked if your armor isn't repaired.

This is a level 5 Nightblade in green level 4 crafted armor, with a blue level 4 staff. No addons, no food, no jewelry and no champion points. Only the first 3 skills that you are given when you skip the tutorial, none of them have been morphed.

The key thing that you are missing OP, is strategy. NB (especially pre 50) need to be very strategic in their battles.

If you go in and agro more than 2 at a time, you die

If you stand toe to toe with 3+ enemies, you die

If you pick your battles, let them come to you, bounce in with your gap closer, strike, and roll back out of melee range, you will survive.

Most importantly - KEEP MOVING!. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee...

Um yeah. As someone who has played regularly since Beta ESO is faaaaarrrrr easy now then at any point since launch, and good gear is far easier to get then any point since launch. Too easy in my opinion. Learn the basics and don't blame the devs because you don't know what you're doing. They have literally dumbed the game down so much for QQing casuals exactly like you that it's watered the game down for the rest of us.

You can do the dark brotherhood right off the bat. I started a brand new character for dark brotherhood and had completed all quests by level 11. Champ points aren't necessary either as I only had around 50 at the time.

Techincally the DB content can be done at any level.

Practically the DLCs are a tiny little bit more involved then most of the mainstory and cadwells questing, so it may be a good idea to keep that one off until you know the combat system well enough, have all your skills maxed and morphed, passives unlocked and so on. Lots of CP behind your character makes it easy, of course.

(the final fight still is annoying sometimes, since luck can sometimes play a very large role in it... just ask anyone who ever got time-frozen in the bad ground during it)

Hi, this thread might be a bit old, I'll add my 2 cents if you don't mind.

The other day I died like 4-5 times until I killed the Sermonizer. Used a lvl 12 Sorcerer, with fair equipment. This is how.

What I did was (like some replies above) take the adds below and on both sides 2 at a time. If you sneak near them and then attack one of the adds, its partner will follow you, but not the others. That way I got the first 6 adds.

Then, I sneaked around and to the top of the stairs at the back of the room. From above, I attacked the 2 adds that were with the Sermonizer, as they were coming onto me. That left only the Sermonizer.

At that moment, I summoned an unstable Clannfear, ran a little back. The Sermonizer concentrated on attacking the Clannfear, and only threw at me some AoE attacks. The Clannfear died once or twice, I summoned it again and kept on doing stand off attacks on the Sermonizer until it died.

So... this is a way to pass that quest, and you don't need to be above any specific level. I'd say the scaling is working alright. As someone said above, you need a strategy.

ESO wasn't made by Bethesda. It was made by Zenimax Online Studios, an subsidiary to parent company Zenimax Media Inc. which owns both Bethesda & ZoS.

That being said, this isn't Skyrim Online. There's a V after the title TES of Skyrim for a reason ;)
