It would be neat! All they would have to do, with "One Tamriel" now is to diversify the werewold infector spawns... say, make the one in reapers march weretigers, and the one in the rift werebears for example... with slight differences in appereance, and some skill variation...Divil_sp33d wrote: »I saw the other day of where in a video it showed a book ingame of one of the elderscrolls game in which it discussed to be wary of not just werewolfs but other werecreatures.
Now seeing as we're spread right across tamriel this can be something viable ingame, having werecats, were-crocs. would put some new life into werecreatures.
Technically... all player characters are -already- some sort of half-lich, due to our life not being bound to our bodiues thanks to "Vestige" status, but... bound elsewhere, allowing us to respawn after being killed, just like a lich does. All that is missing... is some "undead" status as well.Divil_sp33d wrote: »Another thing which would be a sub version of being a lich where you turning into one near a populated town will cause you to get a bounty or something, but allow players to have necromantic skills. -needs some work
I would be quite happy with one bloodline... but more vampire stuff instead. I mean, vamps are known for not being mindless beasts, organiozing... and yet, there is no special interaction options between player vamps, and vampy NPCs. I would totally want to see the Ravenwatch Castle or Wittestadr Manor become a haven for player vamps, with the NPCs there offering special stuff, from bottled blood to vampy themed gear...Divil_sp33d wrote: »Vampires I was thinking of sub bloodlines of Lamae where each one you choose is a major drawback in another area e.g. "lamae's shadow" - detection radius reduced at the cost of less max stamina. - just trying to keep it interesting whilst balanced - needs some work but also having different appearences for vampires.
Personally I'd want a completely revamped disease system! Where you can catch lingering diseases from skeever bites, blood poisoning from rusty traps or the common cold by skinny-dipping in skyrim rivers, and then have to deal with a long lasting debuff as you find yourself busy hacking up yellow slime or popping pustules under your armor (and reduced attributes...)... or find a cure from your friendly neighborhood temple healer or a potion from your house alchemist.Divil_sp33d wrote: »Afflictions - can deal disease damage maybe not in cyrodil or at least PvP but PvE have it like in the singleplayer games dieseases which affect a player negatively for a while possibly even have it so lichdom or some other greater affliction means the more diseased you are the better you do at the cost of something
...and I still wish they would reconsider, and make it so. Vampires, werewolves and their ilk -should- be treated as "monsters" by the NPCs, not as just some people with an additional skill line.MornaBaine wrote: »Originally the justice system was planned to have guards react to transformed werewolves and vampires in stage 4...
