Best use of XP scrolls

A totally non apologetic grind question

I bought the black fredas bundle and have 10 xp scrolls.

Im Cp225 at the minute and spend my time just picking a zone and running around it, doing quests or bosses/delves that I find along the way.

I don’t want to waste the xp scroll time just running around, so whats the best use of the time while ‘charged up’ with xp gain?

Any advice?

Well, you can do quests before you activate scroll. Don't return them yet, save for when you have plenty to make scroll super efficient. Also, random daily dungeon, use scroll just before last boss. Should net you some real XP.
What I find ok is also running good set dolmens. Probably plenty of ppl there, you can get 3 dolmens in 10 minutes, that is nice XP, too.

What you're doing is probably the best use for your scrolls - you gain most XP when completing (handing in) quests, discovering new areas, and killing. So, running around a new zone doing all of the above, especially with skills in your bar that need levelling, is about right. You could try to maximise the investment by doing it in Coldharbour, for example, where you'll also level the Fighters Guild line, or pick up loads of lore books to level the Mages Guild.

You could pick an area where you simply run around a small zone killing fast respawning mobs, but I'm not convinced you'll do any better, and you'll have far less fun.

    Hope that helps. Happy questing!

I would suggest activating the scroll at the beginning of each suggestion since most quests involve discovering new areas and/or killing mobs which nets XP. If you wait until the hand-in point then you're suddenly boosted with nothing to do for the remaining period it's active. Same for random daily, do it at the start and you get the full benefit of it.

Dolmens on the other hand are a really, really good source of XP and Fighter's Guild and can be done in any zone (although try and pick ones where the dolmens are close to wayshrines like The Rift, Eastmarch or Bangkorai).

    Best Use of Exp scrolls.

1 - Fill your quest log with completed quest
2 - Run Dungeon (random) at last boss Hit scroll
    3 - kill boss
4 - turn in all completed quest
5 - Head to a fast respawn area (Google it)
6 - Setup aoe and Grind till exp scroll wears off.

Optional (hit dolmens and bosses) Get a friend for extra 10% Be subbed 10%

This will give u a massive jump start on a scroll but grinding will yield a ton of exp in good areas.

    Good luck.

@sickboy2808 Yes you can store the scrolls in your bank and use them on any character.

Before using scrolls consider getting some psijiic ambrosia as the XP bonuses stack. I have never found a more efficient way to get XP than grinding. Vivecs antlers in Stonefalls is always a popular spot and it is easier to grind with someone else, you can pull together pretty large groups of mobs that all stand on top of you waiting to be AoE'd to death.

Does anyone know if the new life event will give an XP bonus like the Halloween event? 4

EDIT - DO NOT USE BOTH XP SCROLLS AND AMBROSIA POTS, THEY DO NOT STACK

Always valuable advise from you sir.

When using a scroll and the random daily dungeons I can go up at least 1 or 2 lvls.

Also back to OT. Doing the dailies from DB or Wrothgar can usually net you a nice chuck as well. Plus the scroll lasts 2 hours so you are not wasting to much time if you fast travel.

D'oh. I was told they stack and used up my last few pots/scrolls during the Halloween event (but never checked whether the XP did increase).

Rather defensively I have looked around the internet and @Lumbermill_Emperor is definitely right.

when I was gifted with a couple psiijic potions, the way I max'd use was the quest method. I did several quests, but when arriving at the conversation to complete the quest, I backed out of it, and made a list of these quests. then when I had more than enough quests to eat up the half hour, I then looked at my list, and put them into order, so that I could move from one to the next most efficiently...completions when outdoors, completions near wayshrines, completions near each other. then I gulped & ran thru the list...worked pretty good for me...
