Please bring NPC children into the game

I have been playing the game since it was first released and very much like all the work the development team has done to improve the game through updates and quality of life improvements. If their is one thing that I would like to see them add over time is to have npc children added.
I just find it rather odd that everyone that I have come across in in the town and out in the world are all adults and to not have children present also in the game is missing that.
I for one really hope that the developers will read this and make this happen in future game updates or a future expansion to be purchased This would be a fine addition to give the game for the player in this world that they created so that is just more alive with things to see or interact with.
What they also need to do is when at some point if us players ever get housing I very much would like to have my character get a wife and also be able to care for my characters children if done right.
This would also and another great game play feature when not out exploring or questing in the game and sure hope that they will work on this.

    I think they all died

It's simply too weird that there are no children in this world unless everyone is born full-sized which would mix Whovian physics with unimaginable horror on the day of delivery.

Yet it's not an oversight. It's a matter of cost and resources.

Yeah, it would be cool. But the children have to be immortal and untouchable. They should give quests, trade items, sing songs, play around, learn at schools, go to sleep at night etc. Also, it would be great, with introduction of player housing, to be able to adopt/give birth to a child. Just imagine - a breton child as a fruit of an Altmer and Nord marriage xD
    When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

It added quite a bit to Lord of the Rings Online with the Riders of Rohan expansion. Problem was it a poor expansion over all in other ways and one wonders whether those resources might have been better spent creating what RoR lacked: group content.

One notion I'd always hoped would find its way into online games is having new players begin the game as children.

Agreed. It just feels... wrong, the world I mean, without some of the little details of life. And children in town would be one of them... maybe not running around wildly, but... being there.

Also, several quests deal with "rescuing children" who then turn out to be fully grown adults... which creates quite some fluff dissonance. I mean, the "My mom still treats me like I am a kid even though I am of age" excuse works that one time in stormhaven... but not the other times when you see "adult" NPCs acting like nine year olds in how they need an player character to hold their hands to make a dozend steps past some snakes or something...

Yeah, and that would be easy enough, just make them attackable innocents like all other townsfolk... but anyone who actually takes a swing at them discovers them auto-dodging the attack and dash off screaming their head off for the guard, who then will pursue the would be child-killer past their usual tether and kill them until they die... or something like that ;)

Huh, now I know why it always seems so peaceful despite ogers, daedra and large spiders and the like ...

In all honesty I'm not particularly against it, if implemented right it can definitely add to the atmosphere - but it would be on the lower spectrum in terms of priority for me.

Just turn half the cats & dogs into potato-headed children with the same paths, and it'll be just like Skyrim.

Seems unfair to implement something that would prevent [ insert well-known emo egomaniac half-wit PvPer's name here ] from going more than 100 yards from Cyrodiil.

Some good ideas and suggestions here and would like to see it happen but if this was implemented it would have to be done right and hope they will do this at some point to further enhance this great game.

The npc adults are annoying as it is with their excessive neediness and Damsel in Distress..... Introducing children into this game will make it even worse.

It sounds like your kitty vampire needs an intervention with Chris Hansen.
