Aetheric Cipher design flaw

Please tell me why and how could this happen? I mean of course the serious flaw in Aetheric Cipher's design that gimps usage without any reason whatsoever.

Why on Tamriel it has a 5 second cooldown, what purpose? Now putting 100 recipes together is taking almost 10 minutes! Why put this bad user experience on thousand of players?

Please hotfix it asap!!!



ps: Just a wild guess, but maybe you swapped the drop rate percentage with the cooldown value by mistake?

The Mythic Ambrosia recipe is the same as any other recipe, once you read it you can make as many as you like as long as you have the ingredients.

Yes, I understand the recipe works as a recipe as it is a recipe. The question is, is the 1 single cipher, which is the thread subject, being able to turn multiple psijic ambrosia recipes into mythic ambrosia recipes. Instead of the cipher being a one time use on one single recipe.

A cool down was added to the fish filet, because of a bug getting multiple results from one fish.

It is fun when they stop trying to fix stuff and just half ass it. I think I know why they are afraid to mess with skills.

Don't worry, I can design an addon that can automate that at intervals of 5.5 sec.
I'm calling it the 'Incomparable Automated Aertheric Cipher & Ambrosia Recipe Combiner'. It also comes with a mobile app that keeps track of all your Ciphers across all your characters.

Who the heck is putting 100 recipes together????? As far as I know 100 ciphers have not dropped in the entire game. I am either not sober enough for this, or not drunk enough for this. I'm not sure which.

I just love that someone felt the need to add this cool down explicitly to an item you lucky to get once a year maybe. That is top level trolling to me.

I just read the patch notes and it said harvest nodes, well there goes a semi wasted time

Cipher is from monsters, Dust is from harvesting.
