Engine Guardian set

Ok so researching a better build for my sorcerer and I came across the "Engine Guardian". Can anyone link me what they look like for cloth, leather, and plate. I already know the stats but can't seem to get a visual on what it looks like.

It's a monster set it looks the same in any weight/ lvl.

Depending on what you are going for it is a bad set. A dice roll on regen of a stat coupled with a dice roll of what stat will get regened is not reliable. For DPS is is one of the worst sets that can be worn and do not think it is even used much in PvP.

For healing there is better means for obtaining regen. If it is needed for managing stats for tanking then it is a double dice roll making it the worst means to regen stats.

Yeah, I've been using deltiasgaming.com for the best Sorcerer dps build and the helmet and shoulders were recommended for best equip.

All these build sites should be taken with a grain of salt. First, most of what Deltia says is good as far as how gear can synergize with skills or how some skills work better with other skills, that kind of thing. Also, in the case of Deltia, he tends to talk about a specific build doing specific things, not that there is anything wrong with that, it is just things he talks about can tend to be Niche in nature. I like his ideas as he makes people think outside of the box to an extent, or at least look at things that are not the Meta or FoTM as something viable.

Also, you have to check the dates on his builds as they are not always current. Engine Guardian used to be a desired set before we had other Monster Sets and the new Dropped Sets, so now there are alternatives.

Having said all that, I have run with a player who has this set. The Regen Construct does not pop up all that often, and its hit or miss as to what attribute your going to get regened. So, I can't see how this particular one is best to use for any build.

My suggestion for a good gear set for a sorcerer would be two of the 5 Piece Dropped Sets and a Molag Kena Shoulder or Helm. If you use Pets, one of the sets should be Necropetence. The other set could be Julianos as a general all around great magic set, or perhaps the one that cranks up Spell Critical (Mother's Sorrow I think) or Spell Power (Martial Knowledge) or one that reduces spell cost like Seducer which is crafted. There are a total of 18 to 20 or so Dropped Sets for Magic (one for each zone and some may not be new, but are found in new ways). Then there are some really good crafted sets. Find a combo that fills in what you need or what you lack or buffs what you really like or use.

Your playstyle will have more to say about what to use than any build site will.
