lower level dungeons

I have recently started playing again i quit after about 2 months of release myself. I started again as i wanted to learn all the basics again. I have 1 question about population though.. i have been trying to run lower level dungeons as that is what i have quests for. Example banished cells & spindleclutch. But i have been sat in dungeon finder for over 2 hours. Is this purely down to people being at end game and not at the begging of the game or am i missing something ?

Don't feel bad, group finder has had well known issues in the past. I myself don't know if ZOS has ironed everything out with it. I haven't spent 2 hours waiting but I've had 15 mins + wait times.

But there are variables to consider like game population, population searching for same dungeon as you in que, etc.

And no it doesn't discriminate on character level. It will place you with CP 561 players if it happens to work out that way in that moment.

Aside from the things Publius_Scipio already mentioned, the wait time also depends on your selected role. If your character is a DD, you usually have longer wait times.

In general, it shouldn't matter which dungeon you are trying to do, people of all levels do them. Maybe, due to the recent Orsinium event, less people are queueing for dungeons right now.

To add, you tend to wait longer for specific dungeons..
