I can't keep up with the changes. I was playing single player console games for a long time. I never see anyone say, "lol," anymore except for me. Was there a secret consensus to stop using - rofl, lol, lolz? What else should I know about approved this-generation idioms in game chat?

    No I'm asking about what is in and what's out. The current trend. A friend from RL told me we don't use lolz anymore because it's annoying or something. Internet vogue is usually set by Tumblr. Where Facebookers are seen as so far out of touch they're still saying, "hide your wife hide your kids." Maybe I should have asked Reddit. Oh well, thread was worth the Sheogorath joke at least. Wise_wit beats in_fad hands_down.

    Right. I don't think it matters. Perhaps they should add an RP channel though.

    However, things I don't like to see:

    Politics. arguments and racism. A miss tell informing someone that they are having a bad time in the bathroom with all the details and will be afk a while longer :)
