Little to no AP from kills

I've been having an issue all day where 80% of the time I kill someone I get zero AP or at most 200 AP. It's just me killing them as I'm the only one around, and it is also the first time I have killed each target today (I move on after killing someone once unless they've really irritated me). I'll post a video below, but is this happening to anyone else or what's going on? I'm too poor to not get AP as that's how I get my potions. Also please fix infernal guardian, I have zero escape options when every magicka character is shield spamming to find me.

If they have died recently you'll receive very little AP but if they have died with a few seconds after getting a rez or of respawning (I forget how long) they will provide no AP to the individual that kills them.

Interesting, so it doesn't matter if it's me or some random from another alliance who kills them then, it will always be a set amount of AP received from a certain target dying at a certain time? I always thought it was repeat killing the same person over and over that lowered AP, but this is good to know, thanks!

Though...I still am bitter about it I'm too poor to not be rewarded and I'm not psychic enough to tell if someone has recently died .
