Maelstrom Crash/lost items

My game crashed as I completed vet maelstrom arena and wasn't able to obtain my items from the chest. I would REALLY appreciate a better answer than the cut and paste i got in a email...otherwise I don't see myself being "patient as we work on making the game better!"
