Don't have a lot of PVP experience and looking to play my stamsorc in PVP. In PVE D2 and bow are quite useful, but I sense PVP might require a different loadout. Primarily, for melee there is no gap closer on DW. Would you recommend moving to 1H or keep that on back bar? Am testing that again S&B now.
At the moment shield and sword is meta for just about every stamina class. A stam sorc can get away with using dw/bow but I noticed it takes a bit more skill

36% block cost reduction with the latest shield cp passive relocated where the 60/60 damage reduction split usually happens.... defiantly a little to strong if you ask me.
DW/bow (with velidreth) or 1hshield/bow (with tremorscale) IMO. You'll have to learn to pvp without a gap closer if you go DW/bow, but it can be quite strong on a stamsorc. I'm definitely not a fan of wrecking blow being your only spammable. Skilled players will cancel your channel a lot by moving in and out of range, running through you, etc.

You can still get away with DW/Bow on a stam sorc thanks to crit surge, though not having that Rally burst heal when you need it is a bit sucky.
I use DW and Bow, only because I have a masters bow and I prefer flurry and twin slashes over dizzying swing. Burst is great, but survivability is problematic.
So yeah, I have no gap closer, but with stam sorc speed it's really not a problem. I've recently switched over to Clever Alchemist for the added health, which you will NEED if you're in medium armor. Gone are the days where 20k HP was enough.
Also, try to get, at the very minimum, 2k critical resistance. It just may save your ass.
