A free to play weekend and an extended period of silence in terms of official website announcements. They gotta say something on the next update soon... right? Sure, we know that there will be "housing" and "furniture crafting" but those are only slight tidbits of information, we are missing all the finer details. Will there be a new zone, a new quest line, new skill lines, will furniture crafting be its own skill line or be tied in with others? Will we possibly see hints on a... *cough* necromancer class *cough*, or perhaps spell crafting? The lack of finer details and info is starving me.

    They may be trying to cut back on complaints by just keeping their mouths shut.

    I have plenty to do in game right now. More things, really, then I have time for. But I can't wait to hear whats coming. I love all the news about updates and where the game is going. I'm kind of sad it's been quiet for so long.

    You have Thanksgiving in a week, don't expect much before then.

    Your lucky to get people in the office for two weeks in a December much less three and while I can't speak for ZOS most of the people who make decision or talk about the decisions are the ones hard to all find at work on the same day over the holidays.

    I wouldn't expect much for the rest of the year, typically you will get a crew a lower levels working in smaller projects and keeping things running. Again, don't know for sure but for must offices during the Holidays it's hard to get things done.

    I'm thinking it is because of the contest. Like happened when they did the 1mi one.

    Afaik, some places where the contest is running prohibit contests with a mandatory entry payment, which would be the game's box price on this case. By allowing people who didn't buy to participate on it, they make the entry payment not mandatory and are able to run the contest on these places.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.

    This time of year ESO announcements do not follow the normal pattern. PTS will also be delayed.

    I doubt they would start a PTS so it is in the middle of the holidays as that would not be productive on multiple fronts. They will probably announce something in December with the PTS starting in January.
