Returning Player needs direction

I haven't played in ages (maybe since 2014?). Anyway I was pretty heavily invested when I quit. I have two level 50 characters on my account. A level 50 Breton Nightblade, and a Level 50 Dark Elf Sorcerer. Both have 40 Champion points (what are these!?) and both look to be vampires (I think that was a big thing when I quit). I now have a 30-day sub.

All of my stat and skill points have been refunded. The NB has 50 provisioning, and the Sorc has no crafting.

Anyway I am kind of lost. Is there some good NB or Sorcerer builds anyone could recommend? What should I be doing? I am not opposed to PvP, but I am kind of burned out on it (coming from Black Desert). I prefer to play a DPS, but not opposed to some type of heal/support if that is in need.

Champ points replaced veteran ranks, they are the way you progress after level 50 and they do make a big difference. they are also gateways to the best armor, you can use better armor every 10 champ points. currently you need champ level 160 to use the highest.

Vamps are no longer Opd and only good for certain things. Werewolves are decent now as well. PVE wise you can go anywhere and the zone is the same level as you.

Also you will generally want to go eigther a stamina /weapon damage build or a magika / spell damage build. Alot of class skills now have morphs that make them stamina based instead of magika.
