The Troll King in Blessed Crucible

So i decided to see if i could solo one of todays pledges, the blessed crucible. Everything went smooth until i ran into the troll king. He was immune to all damage. Damage numbers would float up, but the immune etc etc message was also popping up for everything including simple light attacks. Yes i realize this is group content. I just find it fun to solo them sometimes. Obviously some bosses have mechanics that require at least one other player to defeat.The second boss in crypt of hearts 2 comes to mind, cuz ive been farming the first boss. She spins a web aound you and you need someone to pop the synergy to get out. My question is, does the troll king have some hidden mechanic that requires more than one person? Or does he just have insane heath regen. He has 1.3 million hp and his hp total only ever goes down to 1.29 mil. So bug? Or working as intended?

I've been able to solo him on both non-vet and vet since One tam. It could have been an obscure bug or just really low damage, without video I can't be sure

Hmm, i guess it was some obscure bug. Its a tank build with average dps at best, but i soloed the wayrest pledge right before it with np. Thanks for the reply.

I've never seen this. I soloed vet BC today and everything went fine (although the final boss in hard mode hits really hard).

I went back in and he was taking damage this time. He does have mega regen, like 2k per tick but wasnt bugged so i was able to kill him.

Every once in a while I have this happen. It happened on Elden Hollow for me the most recent time. They just don't take damage. Btw did you completely log out before it worked properly?
