Not trolling but it really depends on what you want.
Basically, get Brutal on the Traits.
If it ain't Sharpened or Precise on a Weapon, decon it (Well, Powered on a Resto Staff or Healer Set Weapon is OK)
If it's not Divines or Impenetrable on the Small Gear, decon it.
Add in Infused to the mix for the 4 Large Pieces (so Infused, Divines or Impenetrable).
Unless it's tanking gear and it's the Sturdy Trait on probably the smaller pieces, and then Infused on the larger ones. Unless your a PvP Type Tank, then you want all Impenetrable.
The only caveat is, if your chasing a set you really want, then keep whatever traits you have, replacing the bad ones as you go along.

No idea about PC, but you can easily still sell all the undesirable pieces for around 500-800g. I have so much blue and purple crafting solvent, threads etc that it's better to just sell 'em.

Taking this at face value for a second, and assuming it wasn't sarcasm: Prosperous isn't really that good unless you're specifically farming. Most of the time, the modifier for full purple Prosperous gear will only net you an extra gold or two on a kill at most. Now, if you're going to spend a couple hours farming, that does add up, but for normal play, or if you don't just sit there farming mobs, it's not worth it. Even so, it honestly might not be worth the time and expense to collect this stuff.
If it also affected item drop tables, it might be more useful for farmers, but as is, this trait has a very narrow use, and even then, it's debatable at best.

You seriously read that, considered it might be sarcasm and still didn't get it.

I farmed a couple of dungeons a few weeks back, I kept all the armor/weap with all traits listed above. Then later dis-guarded ones I knew I was never gonna use. I was sitting on a mountain pile of gear though. Still kinda am accessory wise. It's nice to be able to do that, throw it all on a mule then cherry pick what you want later.

I hate it. I cannot stand games where you stockpile gear and get into an endless inventory mini game. There is nothing more frustrating and it makes me not want to play the game. There are better solutions to gear and one them should be implemented.
