Ok, title is a bit overkill but seriously, has something changed with the RNG.

every writ I get Im dropping a gold. (I only have one toon but do all the writs)., temp alloys, Rosin, wax etc etc

I then spend time farming mats in orc land and half the runes I pick up are either Kuta's or something a level down.

Only thing im not picking up is provisioning golds or any golds during refining but something as changed for sure. Either that or im on a special list for special people haha

    I haven't received a gold mat from writs in a week. I have been picking up Kuta left and right in Orsinium though. I farmed 400 Rubedite ore in orsinium yesterday and got two temp alloys out of those two stacks. I was a bit dissapointed.

    Currently they are running the Orsinium one year anniversary, so the node drops are super. I am getting 6-10 pieces of ore, wood, or clothing per node. It will be going on until November 21.

    Right now it is gently rocking you as lay on the smooth sandy Shores of Plenty and Joy while the birds and animals bring you offerings. Soon, the tides will turn and you will find yourself in a storm flung repeatedly against the sharp Rocks of Despair as you bleed out and sharks nibble on your feet.

    The RNG gods love playing with your hopes, dreams and emotions - you are in for a frustrating time when they decide you have had enough of their favours.

    I only started doing writs again last week and am fine with the rate of gold drops from the writ rewards. While the survey maps don't drop like they used to, they are frustrating because you never know where you might have to go. I am not so happy with the gold drop rate when refining materials from the maps, I think that might have been reduced.

    Still not sure if I will continue doing them myself but if I were you I would keep goin' while the gettin's good.
