Patched Launcher, can't log in

I just had this problem, trying to launch ESO from Steam on a PC, using the EU server

This worked for me

1. Open Steam
2. Click on "Games" in the small menu right at the top
3. Click on "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library"
4. Click on Browse
5. Select

your\path\to\Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso64.exe

Now you can launch the "eso64" from your list of installed games, and log in successfully.

A difference might be I installed from my ESO account and not steam, but it should work for a Steam install too

The path for a steam install will look something like

C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso64.exe

Im login game now and linked steam acc and ZOS acc
but idk can i login game evening or not...

how do you link the account please... im buying crown using the steam but i login from eso64 and not steam launcher and then the crown does not appear

find out how to link the account, looks like the problem is on my pc because of the user account control. after tweak it and made it to never notify me of any changes, start the launcher from steam, enter the game and there are prompt to link my account to steam, and then i succesfully link my zos account with steam account thx god it works well maybe this can help people who are having trouble to link their steam to zos account

I download the game one more time since last night, so it's working now without trick?

the problem for me was my pc user account control setting is clashing with the steam launcher program which makes the launcher not prompting me to linking my zos account with the steam account. therefore after i set the uac (user acount control setting) to never notify me if there are changes for the pc, the steam launcher for eso prompt me to link the account after i hit play on the eso steam launcher.

Still having problems logging in on my non steam pc na account. When it does fps horrible. Please fix

BUMP.
Did this ever get resolved? It's been over two weeks and I still can't log into the game through Steam. At this point I would like a refund of the crowns I purchased through Steam since I, well, have no access to them when I start the game without Steam.


Edit: Temporary fix seems to be restarting Steam...
