    Im sorry, you shouldnt feel that way although Vma is quite buggy and very unforgiving it really isnt that bad once you get over your first clear.Its a solo training ground and it does in the end make you a better player. Trust Vma had me on the verge of tears and I didnt even cry while in labor.(ok maybe a bit much) and It had me questioning my sanity. All the curse words I made up that will never get a patent. You get my point though. Just get your arse back in there and we will see you on the other side. Oh n btw dont let anyone tell u u NEED gold gear to complete it because you dont. -your friendly advisor B)

    I was like you once... 70 runs later I'm wondering how I could find this arena fun... Like legit the RNG has been kind to me for my stam toons, but my magicka ones just don't seem to deserve the inferno staff.
    I think that mixing it up is the most important part. Do it without shields or without Overload if you're a sorc to change things up. Or just go for a mad speed run. Its really the only thing that keeps me doing this arena, not the Inferno staff that I'll probably only get just before I decide to stop playing this game and games in general and focus on life.

    Yeah I've already done it at least 100 times and have a few Flawless Conquerers but I don't expect to get anything good because I know it's safe to not get my hopes up.

    Yeah magsorc is all I play and I have 2 sharpened bows and a sharpened 2h sword, oh and 2 sharpened ice staves ;_;

    My fear is all this double loot, for them to increase the cap to 180/200 before the end of the year, thus making the grind even more painful.

    thanks alot for your advice, i have been there and at that stage many months ago, but since them i've done vet maelstrom over a hundred times... the problem is that its solo instance trial which takes long to me 50-60 mins and it makes me feel imprisoned there...
    and add all that to the "reward" of absolutely useless stuff to me ALL the time. yes i haven't got the weapon i wanted but i dont feel like running through that instance for a gamble of time
    so even if i can finish that maelstrom, its the worst thing in-game currently
