Dominion Topaz Circlet : what provoke the color changing?

I would just like to know what's make the Dominion Topaz Circlet having a different colour on two different characters BUT with the same characteristics (same hair colour, skin, eyes, same race and alliance)
Character 1 the Dominion Topaz Circlet is black
Character 2 the Dominion Topaz Circlet is brown orange
I would just like to avoid to get more brown orange, as i really prefer the black one.

The character's hair color affects the color of the character's jewelry, unfortunately. I would prefer if we could pick it separately, but oh well... Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.2 -

Are you sure it is exactly the same tone? Can one of them have dark brown hair instead of actual black, but look black because of your settings, maybe?
Because I'm 100% sure it is the hair color. If you go to character creator, give your character any piece of jewelry and then start clicking the different hair colors, the metal parts change color too.
Also, post pics if you are able too

Lauranae✭✭✭✭✭Well those two characters were made right one after the other and i choose the same exact piece of colour for each, i even took picture of the the result that i locked for to be able to get it again in case i deleted the character.
So yes, black. And when i choose the Dominion circlet, at first it was black, then i logged back in after creating the other character and the colour had change.
Thus why i am trying to understand.
But well i get used to it now at least for this character
