On my main character I have never gotten a piece of fortified nirncrux from a node in over a year and a half. This isn't an exaggeration either; I've had exactly 1 in my crafting bag that someone gave to me for months. It's even so odd that I've asked people if I've missed a quest to trigger them.
So what happens? I level an alt in Old Orsinum over the last few months and after finally collecting all of his CP 160 armor I fast travel to a buddy of mine in Belkarth to do a test duel last night. Running south of the city I see a node. It's the FIRST NODE THIS CHARACTER HAS EVER FARMED ...
I get a fortified nirncrux.
